Getting Qualified To get your CMA qualification, you must meet the eligibility requirements which include passing 2 exams, Parts 1 and 2, and completing two continuous years of professional experience in management accounting. This requirement may be completed prior to, during or after passing the exams. PART I - Financial Reporting, Planning, Performance, and Control External Financial Reporting Decisions Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting Performance Management Cost Management Internal Controls PART II - Financial Decision Making Financial Statement Analysis Corporate Finance Decision Analysis Risk Management Investment Decisions Professional Ethics Minimum entry requirements To get your CMA qualification, you must meet at least one of the following criteria: Hold a bachelor s degree, in any discipline, from an accredited college or university How long does it take? The CMA programme lets you proceed at your own pace. As there are only 2 exams it is possible to complete your CMA in 6-12 months. The CMA exam consists of 2 parts, each of which is a 4 hour examination The exams consists of 100 MCQ s and 2 essay style questions The exams can be take in Jan/Feb, May/June, and Sept/Oct The minimum passing score is 360 out of 500 for each part PwC s Academy 5

Course Manager Jouhaina Sarieddine Jouhaina is the CMA course manager at PwC s Academy. She has over 10 years experience in training and education and has advised large corporations and individuals on choosing the right professional qualification for their careers. In her previous experience Jouhaina has successfully managed a training institute in Dubai for more than 5 years through building lasting business relationships and creating tailored training programmes to suit individual needs. Jouhaina has worked with the IMA since 2007 and joined the IMA Dubai Chapter in 2008 as a voluntary contributor where she has organized and managed all the Chapter s events and helped in increasing the member s number in UAE. She has also held a senior position at The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business, Dubai. Jouhaina is a graduate from University of Arts, Sciences, & Technology in Lebanon with a Bachelor of Science (Business Accounting), and is a qualified Professional in Human Resources, PHR.
