1. Summary 1.1 Service Description IBM Sterling Order Management provides a centralised inventory, order promising and fulfilment hub facilitating omni-channel fulfilment. It helps enterprises increase fill rates and inventory turns, reduce markdowns, improve customer loyalty and increase profitability. Sterling Order Management features include: A single view of supply and demand across channels to provide improved inventory utilization and delivery dates. Coordinated, customised fulfilment processes to support various selling channels and internal or external supplies. A single source of order information to provide customers with accurate information. 2. Delivery 2.1 Context A Cloud based business model requires a fresh approach to how Technology Services are delivered within, and to, an organisation. The traditional processes, governance models, delivery skills and capabilities need to be modernised to support this shift. Organisations need to take a hard look at their current capabilities, identify the gaps, which need filling or enhancements that need to be made and create a robust roadmap to address these. IBM Sterling Order Management provides a centralised inventory, order promising and fulfilment hub facilitating omni-channel fulfilment. It helps enterprises increase fill rates and inventory turns, reduce markdowns, improve customer loyalty and increase profitability. 2.2 What we will deliver IBM software services experts help you connect people, processes and information seamlessly using our integration software. Use our team to lead a full implementation or leverage us to support and collaborate with your internal teams or partners. Each services engagement is tailored to your specific needs. Our worldwide consultants will apply their proven technical skills and in-depth product knowledge to ensure a successful implementation of IBM Sterling and WebSphere Connectivity and Integration solutions. We offer on-site, off-shore, software as a service (SaaS) or a combination of delivery models to meet your needs. The deliverables from this offering will vary based on the Call-Off Order and will be agreed prior to engagement. Typical deliverables are: An assessment undertaken by experienced IBM Technology Strategy and Delivery professionals A report summarising the findings of the maturity assessment across twelve dimensions A defined set of initiatives and a structured roadmap and plan to ensure value is realised. A proposal for a number of infused resources to help you deliver the required changes. 4
2.3 Commercials This will be a Fixed Price/Time and Materials contract, however, following the first phase of the work, there could be the opportunity to discuss the conversion of the initial quote into either a Fixed Price, Time and Material or Risk/Reward based contract in order to provide increased flexibility for the customer. Initial work will be carried out under the Strategy and Architecture category of the IBM SFIA rate table unless agreed otherwise. Follow on work will be under the appropriate category(ies) of the IBM SFIA rate table. The scope of work will be set out in the Call Off Order Form and agreed by both parties. Follow on services to enable you to complete implementation of cloud services can be provided by IBM. Details should be agreed via the Call-Off Order and priced using the IBM SFIA rate card. 2.4 Key Points Other key points to note are as follows: This offering is subject to availability of IBM resources. The Charges for this Service are on the basis that no Parent Company Guarantee is required. If one is required and agreed to by IBM then the Charges will be revised accordingly. For Fixed Price offerings, Travel and Subsistence (T&S) costs will be charged in addition e using the Contracting Body s standard T&S rates. The pricing and terms on individual call-off orders should be handled as commercially sensitive by the Contracting Body. Where work is of a sensitive and secure nature, security standards will be agreed between IBM and the Contracting Body, and if necessary IBM will ask the Contracting Body to issue a Security Aspects letter. Whilst we do not propose to handle or have access to any personal data, we will suggest and agree alternative approaches such as the use of anonymised data for testing purposes.
