Due to expected interest of participating and non-participating national and international air traffic, the Minister of Transport and Public Works has decided to establish an SRZ around Texel AD to protect departing and arriving traffic from and to Texel AD as well as participating aircraft on the 20th and 21st of July, 2007. The SRZ will be active on the following times: Friday July 20th 2007 Saturday July 21st 2007 2 SRZ LIMITS 2.1 Lateral limits 1000-1700 during the aerodrome operational hours (0600-1800) A circular area with a radius of 5 M centred on Texel AD, position 06 55 004 50 01 E. 2.2 Upper Limit 3000 ft AMSL, between 1100-1530 FL 150. 3 FLOW COTROL MEASURES In order to be able te regulate the traffic flow as good as possible, the following measures have been taken: Inbound traffic visiting Texel AD on July 21st has to take into account that there can be delays at the boundary of the SRZ The SRZ will be closed for visiting traffic, except in case of emergencies, on July 21st from 1030 until about 1530. All traffic must request an inbound and outbound slottime from the airshow authories well in advance via e-mail (info@texelairport.nl) or telephone (+31 (0)222 311 267) All traffic will receive a slot time from the Texel Authorities, based on availability. Inbound is possible between 0600-1030. Outbound is possible between 1530-1700. 4 I- AD OUTBOUD PROCEDURES TEXEL AD O JULY 21st 2007 The following procedures will be in force during the active hours of the SRZ: 4.1 Inbound/outbound Please avoid villages and bird sanctuaries as much as possible and don t overfly these areas at an altitude below 1500 ft AMSL. The procedures for the Friday before the show will be the same as on a SAT, SU or HOL. 4.2 Compulsory reporting points (see appendix A) Den Oever / Den Helder. Point Alfa. Point Bravo or Echo based on runway in use. Final 4.3 Inbound (see appendix A) The slot time received is the landing time. Take this into account when making your navigation plan. Aircraft from Den Helder proceed to point A with 1 M east outside the coast. Aircraft from Den Oever proceed via the standard corridor direct to point A. RWY 22: RWY 04: from A to E (1 M east outside the coast) At point E turn long final RWY 22. from A to B. Proceed to righthand baseleg and then to final. Until point B (RWY 04) or point E (RWY 22) stay at 1500 ft AMSL or above. After point B or E descend to the runway. 4.4 Outbound (see appendix B) Departing traffic should at the obtained slot time call the tower on FREQ 119.30 MHz with the phrase READY FOR TAXI. For both RWY 04 and RWY 22 traffic should climb to 1500 ft AMSL on runway heading and then proceed directly east to at least 1 M east outside the coast. Thereafter via point A to Den Oever or 1 M out of the Texel coast to Den Helder. Air Traffic Control the etherlands
