Due to expected interest of participating and non-participating national and international air traffic, the Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment has decided to establish the Texel area around Texel AD to protect departing and arriving traffic from and to Texel AD as well as participating aircraft on 3 July and August 5. The Texel area is a temporary restricted area and will be active as follows: Friday 3 July 5: -7 Saturday August 5: during the aerodrome operational hours 6-7 TEXEL AREA ame and lateral limits Texel area Circle, radius 5 M, centre 6'55" 4 5'"E Upper limit Lower limit 3 ft AMSL GD Remarks FRI 3 July 5: BT -7 GD-3 ft AMSL; BT -5 upper limit may be raised to FL. SAT August 5: BT 6-7 GD-3 ft AMSL; BT 3-53 upper limit may be raised to FL. 3 FLOW COTROL MEASURES In order to be able to regulate the traffic flow as well as possible, the following measures have been taken: Inbound traffic visiting Texel AD on 3 July shall take into account that there can be delays at the boundary of the Texel area. The Texel area will be closed for visiting traffic on August between 3-53, except for police, SAR and HEMS flights. All traffic must maintain two-way radio contact with Texel Radio on 9.3. All traffic must request an inbound and outbound slot time from the airshow authorities well in advance via ([email protected]) or telephone (+3 () 3 67). All traffic will receive a slot time from the Texel AD Authorities, based on availability. Inbound traffic is allowed between 6-3. Outbound traffic is allowed between FLIGHT PROCEDURES 4. I- AD OUTBOUD PROCEDURES 3 JULY 5 The procedures will be the same as on a SAT, SU or HOL (ref. AIP SUP /5). 4. I- AD OUTBOUD PROCEDURES AUGUST 5 The following procedures will be in force when the Texel area is activated: 4.. Inbound/outbound Please avoid villages and bird sanctuaries as much as possible and don't overfly these areas at an altitude below 5 ft AMSL. 4.. Compulsory reporting points (see appendix A) Den Oever / Den Helder. Point Alfa. Point Bravo or Echo based on runway in use. Final. Air Traffic Control the etherlands

Aircraft from Den Helder shall proceed to point A with M east outside the coast. Aircraft from Den Oever shall proceed via the standard corridor direct to point A. RWY : RWY 4: from A to E ( M east outside the coast). At point E turn long final RWY. from A to B. Proceed to right hand base leg and then to final. Until point B (RWY 4) or point E (RWY ) stay at 5 ft AMSL or above. After point B or E descend to the runway Outbound (see appendix B) Departing traffic shall contact the tower on 9.3 at the obtained slot time with the phrase "READY FOR TAXI". For both RWY 4 and RWY traffic shall climb to 5 ft AMSL on runway heading and then proceed directly east free of the built-up area to at least M east outside the coast. Thereafter via point A to Den Oever or M out of the Texel coast to Den Helder. 5 REMARKS / RESTRICTIOS O AUGUST 5 Local flights will not be permitted.
