This directory lists the range of services offered in the Counties Manukau district to support breastfeeding mothers as well as their whaanau and supporters. Their services are to eligible babies and they follow the growth and development of your child, as well as providing a variety of other services. The website has information for mothers and their supporters, personal stories, tips about how you can help and information for health professionals. DVD: Breastfeeding. Naturally : This follows nine women, showing the realities of breastfeeding for women and their families as well as tips for success. It is distributed to mums-to-be by their lead maternity carer and can also be viewed on the above website. Breastfeeding in the Workplace www.ers.dol.govt.nz All employers are required to provide facilities and unpaid breaks for employees who wish to breastfeed their infants or express milk during work hours. These provisions are part of the Employment Relations (Breaks, Infant Feeding and Other Matters) Amendment Act 2008.
