Trivector Scientific International has been regularly conducting training programmes on the Assisted Reproductive Technologies initially under the aegis s of the Trivector Fertility School in collaboration with the Medicult Fertility School, Denmark and now under its own Academy - TESA. These training programmes are aimed to give a complete insight into the various aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technologies with a greater emphasis on the setting up, maintenance and the techniques involved in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART). The participants to these programmes are either clinicians (gynecologists, physicians or andrologists) or potential embryologists (with at least a Bachelor s degree in any of the Biological Sciences). These intensive training programmes include a series of lectures on the basics of reproductive biology; the science behind ART; the principles behind each of the techniques of ART; demonstrations of the ART; long hours of hands-on experience on each step of ART including Intra-Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). Demonstration of the newer technologies such as laser assisted hatching as well as Intra-cytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection (IMSI). Faculty: Dr. Rajvi H Mehta PhD: She is one of the first doctorates in the field of human IVF-ET in India having started her career under the tutelage of Drs. T.C Anand Kumar and Dr Indira Hinduja, who were responsible for the birth of India s first scientifically documented IVF baby in 1986. Since then she has been very active in the field including training and research. Ms. Cheryl Mascerenhas MSc: She has completed a three years Masters in Clinical Embryology from the Manipal Institute of Technology. She is herself very skilled in the ART with extreme patience necessary for the practical training. The faculty is ably supported by the engineers of Trivector Scientific International. 3
