SAS MD -110 Administration System for Ericsson PBXs System Properties DO MORE. GROW MORE. BE MORE.
sas md110 Administration System for Ericsson MD110 PBXs SAS is an effective system for administration of Ericsson MD110 PBX branches and parameters, with a direct link to an organization s phonebook, tariff-tracking system, and other supplementary applications. All administration is carried out over a Web interface, and the only application needed for the machine running the administration client is Microsoft Internet Explorer. Editing a Branch or Participant modification of participants shortened dialling codes (for mobile phones) automatic link to the phonebook application data at PBXs changing branches parameters detailed overview of parameters Administration of Alarms automatic identification of alarms transmission of information to an e-mail address or via an SMS message historical overview of alarms overview of alarms in the hierarchy of a branch or branches overview of participants affected by a malfunction database of alarms, including supplementary information (alarm description, description of error-fixing process, etc.) PBX Parameters report on parameters printout option export to file searching, sorting direct reading of parameters from a PBX
Phonebook Application is an add-on application for SAS MD110 direct link to the true status of branches and of shortened dialling codes at PBXs allows the keeping of multiple, independent phonebooks direct link to branch topology (external links, sharing of branches by multiple persons, searching) searching by parameters (names, companies, departments, etc.) supplementary information on participants grouping of participants by user-definable parameters (customer specifications) export to file (csv, txt, etc.) open intranet application, access via a Web browser (Netscape 3+, Internet Explorer 4+) Tariff Tracking direct link to the CALOM tariff-tracking system generation of a tariffs tree from information on participants (number lists, up to 7 levels of grouping) reports and export-to-file ability supervision of call-costs limits for defined groups and/or participants (the system can be configured to send an e-mail warning when a limit that has been set has been exceeded, and/or to restrict the participant s or group s category when defined limits have been exceeded) Data Integrity data at PBXs at set intervals (PBXdatabase and PBX-PBX verifications are run) automatic confirming of changes (DUSYI) sending of reports (results of integrity checks) to administrators automatic/manual correction of integrity errors Alarms overview of current alarms overview of alarms in the hierarchy of PBXs hardware configuration overview of blocked EQUs (branches and routes) precise identification of an alarm via stepby-step drilling down into the system hierarchy (PBX -> LIM -> MAGAZINE -> BOARD -> EQU -> branch topology -> participant) list of participants affected by an error state (critical departments, hotline, publicrelations department) Branches change to DIR, EQU, or participant swapping of DIR or EQU programming of telephony devices (KSANI, KSMDI, SPEXI, etc.) programming of telephone relationships (e.g. boss-secretary) groups (pickup, hunting) automatic export of information for the tariff-tracking system (the dirdb file for use in CALOM) Branch Topology administration of a complete branchtopology network grouping of external lines into the topology grouping of parallel sockets import of topology from an external file reports that make the task of creating a topology easier Other System Properties the user interface is provided over the http protocol (and thus no client software need be installed: administration takes place in the environment of Internet Explorer 5.5+) PBXs are hooked in to the system over either TCP/IP or a serial interface direct link between the system and the company s personnel department (sending of reports on employees that have freshly joined/left the company) the database can be initialised per the existing states of PBXs in the network to be administered (the system can thus be put in place over already-configured PBXs) viewing of PBX statuses without needing to be constantly logged in The SAS MD110 s functions are available over a WAP interface sorting, searching, verification of integrity, and other operations on relational tables export from relational tables to a variety of formats (csv, txt, etc.) execution of the xxxxi, xxxxe, and xxxxc commands; when an error occurs during command execution, the system returns PBXs to their original states synchronisation of system time and date at PBXs per the data in the SAS MD110 server operation authorisation and logging (the time, date, and user connected with each change or record is logged) an extensive user-rights system, enabling effective division of labour among users
