You are invited to the next Quarterly Event! Join us for a dynamic discussion on the topic Rainmakers: Born or Bred? DETAILS Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 12:15 2:00 p.m. EDT Clifford Chance US LLP 31 West 52nd Street, 4th Floor, Conference Room NOP, New York, NY Clifford Chance has graciously offered to provide lunch to the attendees. TOPIC DESCRIPTION Rainmakers: Born or Bred? The legal profession has been training attorneys on the tactics of bringing in business for years. A groundbreaking study, however, suggests that these lessons do not differentiate individuals who are successful at developing clients from their more service-oriented colleagues. At this event, we will share the results of this study, examine how law firms can make meaningful and significant changes to their lawyer training programs, and provide perspectives and insights from in-house counsel and leading law firm partners on the key characteristics that lead to the development of a significant book of business. Attendees will leave the event, armed with action steps and inspiration to apply these learnings to become more successful at business development. REGISTRATION Please R.S.V.P. by clicking here. The first event was in November 2010. The first event for anyone who wants to attend is free with no commitment to join. If you've previously attended Flex-Time Lawyers LLC events or been a Flex-Time Lawyers LLC member before November 2010, your attendance at your first event is still free. Once you attend or have attended your first program for free as of November 2010 or later, you can purchase a $150 membership fee that will cover your attendance for four consecutive events, including the first free one you attended.
