Check your entry forms and confirmations: Please be aware that AKC rules prohibit modification of an entry after the closing date/time. The ONLY allowed changes are for move-ups in class and those are required in writing by 6PM of the Wednesday before the trial. The trial secretary is not allowed to change jump heights, preferred vs. regular, or move down in classes after closing. A preliminary email confirmation will be sent when the entry is received and processed. Make sure to check those confirmations closely and notify the trial secretary if you have corrections or changes before the closing date. Chagrin Falls, OH DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER This Trial is open to Bearded Collies over the age of 15 months that are registered with the American Kennel Club have AKC Limited Registration, a Purebred Alternative Listing or Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP), except bitches in season, aggressive dogs, blind or deaf dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. HEIGHT DIVISION Regular The following lists the required jump height for Preferred, and minimum height for regular agility classes. Judges only reserve the right to measure dogs at the trial who do not possess an official height card. Preferred 8 inches for dogs 11 inches and under at the withers 4 Preferred class 12 inches for dogs 14 inches and under at the withers 8 Preferred class 16 inches for dogs 18 inches and under at the withers 12 Preferred class 20 inches for dogs 22 inches and under at the withers 16 Preferred class 24 inches for dogs over 22 inches at the withers 20 Preferred class 26 inches Dogs may be entered at this height at their owner s discretion OBSTACLES: Obstacles shall meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of AKC Regulations for Agility Trials. CLASSES OFFERED: All levels of STD, JWW, T2B, and FAST agility, including the Preferred Classes will be offered. A complete set of rules for all classes is available from the American Kennel Club, 8051 Arco Corporate Drive, Raleigh, NC 27617-3390, or from the AKC web site (www.akc.org). It is the exhibitor s responsibility to enter their dog in the correct class. The Trial Secretary cannot make any changes (except for move-ups as noted) after the closing date of the trial. Be sure to check your entry form carefully and make certain you have entered the correct classes. PREFERRED CLASS INFORMATION: You may not enter the same dog in preferred and regular classes in the same set of shows (weekend). JUMP HEIGHT INFORMATION: Please indicate on the entry form if you need to be measured.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS The grounds will be open at 7:00 AM for set-up. There is no set-up on Sunday evening. Only outdoor crating area is available. Please bring your own shade/weather protection. There will be limited covered crating available. MOTORHOME PARKING: is NOT available overnight. Puppies under 4 months are strictly prohibited from the grounds, and will be excused from the crating area. Unentered dogs may be asked to leave the crating area. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason or riots, civil disturbances, fire, and act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. REFUND POLICY: Bitches in season are not permitted to compete in agility trials. The Club will refund 50% of the entry fee for bitches unable to compete for that reason. Refund requests must be accompanied by a dated, signed letter on official business letterhead from your veterinarian stating the reason that your dog cannot compete. E-mails, phone calls and non-letterhead notes will not be considered. All requests must be received prior to the start of judging. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. BCCA and its agents, employees, etc. will assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. All dogs must be on a leash at all times except when in the ring or when in the designated agility warm-up area. Exhibitors are responsible for being at the ring gate when it is their turn to run. Dogs MAY NOT be left overnight. The Bearded Collie Club of America, Inc. will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items left at the show site. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on show grounds. Food and beverage: A concessionaire will be onsite with a variety of food available for purchase. There are also numerous fast food restaurants within easy driving distance of the site Conditional, unsigned, incomplete, illegible, telephone or telegraph entries cannot be accepted. Entries not on official AKC form, or photocopies of AKC forms, without the agreement attached are not acceptable. Confirmation of entry and schedule of judging time will be sent to the address on the official AKC entry form after the closing date. If an exhibitor has not received a copy of the schedule at least seven days prior to the show, contact the Trial Secretary. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. The Bearded Collie Club of America assumes No responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or spectators, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assumes no responsibility for injury to any child not under the control of his or her parents or guardians. The safety of dogs is of primary concern. By entering the Trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of the sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors in entry forms, regardless of who may make such errors. MOVE-UPS: Move-ups after entries close must be submitted to the Trial Secretary in writing by 6:00 PM PDT on Wednesday, September 16 th, 2015. Driving Directions From I-5 Take Exit 111 from either I-5 North or South. Take WA 510/Marvin Rd. 1.5 miles to the RAC. ACCOMMODATIONS The following motels/campgrounds were accepting dogs at the time this premium list was prepared. Please call these establishments directly for any fees or restrictions. There is NO Overnight RV Parking available onsite. Please clean up after your dogs so we can use these facilities for future events. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box. Junior Handlers should enter their Junior Handler number on the front of this form. Should you not have your Junior Handler number, it may be obtained from the American Kennel Club (919) 233-9767. If the Junior Handler is not the owner of the dog identified on the face of this form, what is the relationship of the Junior Handler to the Owner?
