Professional Nursing Program Status: Pursuant to Statute 464.019 (6) and Chapter 120, FS our Professional Nursing and Licensed Practical Nurse to Associate Degree Nurse Bridge programs have been placed on probationary status. This status will be valid for two calendar years or until Taylor College achieves a graduate NCLEX passing rate that equals or exceeds the requirements of the Florida Board of Nursing for either calendar year. 2
As a result of this status Taylor College has implemented the Assessment Technology Institute (ATI) Comprehensive Capstone Review for our nursing students. This integrated learning platform has proven to be effective for first-time NCLEX test-takers who successfully complete all components of the ATI review and receive the go ahead or green light from their ATI coach, thus resulting in students becoming licensed and employed. It is the student s responsibility to comply with ATI by submitting all assignments and completing the NCLEX boards immediately following approval from ATI. This probationary status will have no effect on the Professional Nursing and Licensed Practical Nurse to Associate Degree Nurse Bridge students when applying for the NCLEX. Upon graduation, all students remain eligible to apply for the licensing exam. 3
