As the University endeavors to improve its curriculum, course changes will be reflected in this prospectus and therefore may appear different than the catalog. Students who are unable to make payment in full are placed on a payment plan for the term, which is tailored accordingly for each student. Students on a payment plan are required to make a down payment prior to student enrollment. All tuition and fees must be paid by the end of any given term prior to enrolling in a new term. PAYMENTS All payments to Zion Christian University must be made in U.S. dollars by credit card, check, money order, or bank check. Please do not send cash. Students who are put on a payment plan must pay by credit card, which is billed each month until the balance is paid in full. Students will be charged a $35.00 fee for any check that is returned due to insufficient funds. Make checks out to Zion Christian University. REFUND SCHEDULE Refunds do not include any fees such as application, semester registration, graduation, audio, or textbook fees. If students withdraw from enrollment or drop a course within a period of: 1. 5 days of course registration, 100% of tuition is refunded. 2. 10 days of course registration, 70% of tuition is refunded. 3. 20 days of course registration, 50% of tuition is refunded. 4. 30 days of course registration, 30% of tuition is refunded. All withdrawal requests must be made in writing. The date of withdrawal is determined by the date postmarked on the withdrawal letter. No refunds are made after 30 days. ACADEMIC INFORMATION AUDIO USAGE All audio must be purchased through Zion Christian University. Audio provided by Zion Christian University is sold under copyright law and thus no unauthorized duplication is allowed. REQUIRED TEXTBOOKS Most textbooks may be purchased from Zion Christian Publishers at www.zcpublishers.com or by calling (607) 565-2801. For students who do not have Internet access, a ZCP Textbook order form will be provided. Students will be informed of any textbooks that are not available at ZCP and they will be given information regarding where they may obtain the textbook. TRANSCRIPT REQUEST One (1) transcript requests can be issued per year at no cost. Additional transcript requests have a charge of $5.00 per transcript. ZF, Inc, Zion Christian University Page 5
PROCESS OF EVALUATION, ENROLLMENT, & REGISTRATION After a student is accepted, the University will mail a letter of acceptance and if applicable a student evaluation. The student evaluation lists the required courses for program completion, any credits transferred, and the total tuition cost. Student may register for courses by contacting their student advisor or the registrar s office by phone or email. STUDENT ADVISORS Zion Christian University provides Student Advisors who are available to assist the student. Although the University does not provide tutors, students are encouraged to locate Christian professionals who are skilled in their own areas of study who can interact with them about their subject. During the term, students are required to send their Student Advisor a monthly report regarding their progress.
