Register for the portal You can always call Member Services for assistance to register with the portal at 855-844-0626. The Member Web Portal can be found on Direct Dental s website at www.directdentalplans.com by clicking on Login. To register, click Register Now and you ll be directed to the registration page. Enter the information requested by the form. You may contact your HR representative for your (and your dependents) Subscriber ID via their member roster, otherwise you may enter the last 4-digits of your SSN If you have a spouse or an adult child, they will need to register with the portal with your Subscriber ID (their SSNs are not file) Note Please ensure your name matches what was submitted on your enrollment form. If you are having trouble registering, please check with your HR representative to ensure your entry matches the vendor roster 3
View and print your ID card Go to Enrollment > Print ID Card Click View and your ID card will generate This ID Card format is a pdf and you can print your card out an any local printer 4
Navigating the portal Once inside the portal, rely on the top navigation tool bar to find the information you re looking for. You ll see options for enrollment, claims, benefits, providers, documents, and your account. 5
View enrollment summary On the top navigation bar, go to Enrollment > Summary Here, you will find your current enrollment information, including: - Benefit plan - Subscriber ID - Enrollment status - Other personal information Additionally, you ll be able to assign a primary care provider and view the enrollment summary details of your non-adult dependents Note Due to HIPAA compliancy, you will not be able to view the protected health information for your spouse or any adult children. They will need to register with the portal to view their benefits 6
Add other insurance Go to Enrollment > Update Other Insurance If you have other dental insurance or other vision insurance (if you are enrolled in a vision plan), enter the required fields on this page 7
View claims Click Claims on the navigation bar to visit the Claim Center Search by date range to review any of your claims, billed charges, and any member responsibility For more details, click Detail. This will bring up the services rendered that were submitted on your claim and other pertinent information 8
View benefit summary To view a report capturing accumulators consumed against your benefit max for the year so far, click Benefits in the top navigation Click View to run the report and view your accumulators for the plan year Note accumulators for the plan year will also be available on your Explanation of Benefits (located in Documents) 9
Retrieve program documents Most program and custom documents will be posted to the portal under Documents To find a document, specify the document type and the date range. To search for all types, select document type All All documents meeting your search criteria will show for you to select from and view Note this is where you can retrieve your EOBs as soon as they are generated 10
Update Account Settings If you would like to change your general account settings, navigate to Account > My Profile Update your personal information, set change your password, and set a new PIN 11
