Overview The Verifone Remote Software Delivery (VRSD) feature allows a site to initiate a complete software upgrade without requiring the presence of a technician (VASC) or intervention from the Verifone HelpDesk. This feature requires an Annual Support Maintenance (ASM) contract. One of the benefits of having the ASM is the automatic delivery of auto-upgrade packages via VRSD using the public Internet. This feature meets PCI requirements and can be used with every PCI compliant version of any application. This guide describes how to set up a site to receive Verifone Remote Software Delivery. For the Remote Software Delivery to work, the ASA Router at the site must be configured with the following IP addresses and ports. If the site has a router configured, the router must be reconfigured with the existing IP addresses and ports along with the VRSD IP addresses and ports. The following table is used for the External Device Settings (Outbound). IP Source Device First Port (Outbound) Second Port (Outbound) Protocol 192.30.100.109 Site Controller 80 443 TCP 192.30.100.116 Site Controller 80 443 TCP 192.30.100.117 Site Controller 80 443 TCP 192.30.100.118 Site Controller 80 443 TCP Note: You do not configure Inbound ports for Remote Software Delivery. You can also refer to the Network Implementation Checklist for the customer (ExxonMobil, Shell, etc.) for whom you are installing VRSD and to the appropriate sections of the Commander Site Controller Network Configuration Guide.
