Answer: Question 6. How many requisitions do you create on average each year? Approximately 1,000 requisitions are opened. What role do you mostly recruit for? We have a wide variety of positions available in multiple departments and colleges. We don t have a role we mostly recruit for due to our environment. Human Resources is very decentralized. We recruit for staff and student positions. We do not recruit for faculty positions. What do the steps in your recruiting process look like today? It varies depending on the position type. We have a complex recruitment process due to the size of the University. All recruitments go through multiple levels of approvals which could include Director, Dean, Vice President and HR. Are there any areas of pain around this process? Inflexibility of our current ATS system to meet our changing recruitment needs. Are you looking for specific competencies in the interview process? Some hiring departments utilize competencies and some do not. It is something we are moving toward in the future. We do have a set of core competencies developed for the University and plan to integrate these into the hiring process.. Are you doing any type of assessments during the application/interview process?

Who is your background verification vendor? Risk Mitigation. Do you post jobs on job boards? If so, what job boards do you use? How many? This decision is made by the individual hiring department and can vary across campus. We tend to have large applicant pools and do not always need to advertise on job boards. Once people are onboard do they go through some sort of orientation? Yes. Do they have a new hire curriculum assigned to them? No. Before the employee starts do they fill out paperwork or go online to complete any documentation? If so, what tools do you use to do this? They fill out paperwork. We do not currently have an online process for new hire paperwork.

Answer: Question 6. Answer: Can the University provide the RFP as a Word document? No, the RFP is not available as a Word document. How many applications does the University receive annually? Approximately 43,500 applicants for 920 requisitions opened How many hires does the University make annually? Approximately 1,030 hires are made annually. How many separate workflows does the University expect to utilize (i.e. student, faculty, etc.)? The Human Resources department will implement 2 separate application processes (staff and student), but multiple workflows are required within these application processes. Is there a preference one way or the other on a Vendor Hosted vs. Client Hosted solution? Vendor Hosted is preferred. Does the University desire a one-directional, or bi-directional, integration to Ellucian Banner? Bi-directional (Employee demographic and job information from Banner to application. Employee new hire and on boarding information from application to Banner.)

Integration with the background check vendor and any other systems purchased at a later date. Is SAS 70 a mandatory requirement? Privately held corporations are typically not required to adhere to SAS 70. Answer: It is preferred that the vendor can comply with SSAE 16. Question 9. Answer: Will data migration be required? There is a possibility data migration will be required.
