CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE 2015 ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE AN ELCHO SCHOOL GRADUATE ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR TECHNICAL SCHOOL AS A FULL TIME STUDENT. 1) PELICAN LAKE BASEBALL BOOSTERS - $1,000 1) Must have been a Musky baseball player. 2) Include an essay no longer than one page on why you think you deserve to receive this scholarship, and what did you learn from being a Pelican Lake Musky. 3) In good academic standing. 2) KATHERINE KING MEMORIAL OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - $1000 1) This scholarship will go to the applicant with the highest GPA. In the event of a tie the amount will be split. 3) JACK KRAMER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP- $1000 1) To be given to a student in his/her 3rd year or above. 2) For a student in good academic standing. 4) KIMBERLY FISCHER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP - $500 1) 2.5 GPA or above. 2) Attended Elcho High School for at least 2 years 3) Going into the Medical Field (ex. Nursing, Surgical Tech, Doctor, etc) 4) Can be for a 2 year or 4 year degree. 5) EXCELLENCE AWARD - $500 Funded by Dr. Deep of the Aspirus Clinic 1) Elcho graduate attending a 4 year University. 2) Has excelled in his/her studies.
6) ELCHO SCHOOL FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP - $500 Funded by Lights of Love 1) Applicant must be in enrolled in a school of commercial art, music, etc. as a full time student. 7) ELCHO AREA HEALTH PLANNING - $500 1) For a student planning a health related career. 2) Students will be judged by the committee on the personality traits of honesty, dependability, perseverance, and prognosis for success in the major area of study selected. 3) Preference given to an Elcho graduate already in college. Seniors may apply in the event that no past graduates are eligible. 8) HATFIELD LAW OFFICE SCHOLARSHIP - $500 1) To be awarded to an Elcho Graduate attending college or a tech school. 9) ELCHO PTO SCHOLARSHIP - $500 1) For a student in good academic standing. 10) HYLAND LAKES LIONS SCHOLARSHIP - $500 1) Applicant must have a "B" average (3.0 GPA) or above. 11) ELCHO TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP - 2 @ $500 1) For a student majoring in teaching. 2) Must show proof of admission to a school or education.
