Upcoming Targets 20 Granted funding of Scientific Projects by TeBiCom Ruhr using the Teleradiology Network Ruhr Platform Teaching- and Research Archives Improvement of medical networking Stroke, Cardiology, Oncology, Traumatology Research Gender specific Workflow Quality Assurance
Pilot Résumé 21 High acceptance of the project with no animosities among the participants. Instant integration into the existing workflows (mail replacement, second opinion, replacement of existing VPN connections). Relatively work intensive pre-installation phase. Almost no need for support after the installation. Robust technical platform.
Summary 22 There is an obvious need for collaborative networking among participants of the publichealth sector even for competitors. Providing an extendible technical platform can be the missing initiator for fulfilling this need. For being successful a critical mass of initial participants is essential.
