In many instances, due to their success and predictability, implants have changed the treatment paradigm for the dental patient. The goal of this program is to provide participants with a thorough exposure to dental implants, facilitating their successful use in the general practice set- ting. This will be accomplished through a series of lecture presentations, live demonstrations and hands-on work- shop. By understaning some simple concepts, participants will know which simple, profitable cases can be treated and which risky cases should be referred. Participants are encouraged to bring their cases for discussion and treatment planning. This program is designed for general practitioners who desire acquiring the knowledge, confidence and experience to begin incorporating implant dentistry into their private practice. Program Philosophy With proper training, you will be able to diagnose and treat your prospective implant patients from start to finish as well as receiving multiple benefits from these exciting and challenging cases. Your responsibility is to expose your patients to possible treatment options and be comfortable helping your patients make an informed decision. This program provides an opportunity for you to enhance and expand your practice s horizon with financial rewards that will equally match by professional challenges that you will master. Alternatively, should you choose to work with a specialist, you will acquire the ability to participate at a new level of understanding resulting in positive benefits to your patients. He has practiced in London and Brighton area. He completed postgraduate training with leading specialists in implant surgery and prosthodontics in London s West End and has attended several courses in United states and Europe. He is currently completing a Masters Degree in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics at the prestigious Kings College, London. Dr Silva is a partner of the Dental Centre Group with branches in Portslade, Worthing, Crawley, Old Village Portslade and Hailsham. He also owns the Aguavida health and beauty group.
