Treatment and Drug Endangered Children Parental substance abuse treatment e t serves as a prevention effort for drug endangered children. Nexus offers prevention services to the indicated population of children we serve. Our unique setting allows the children and mothers to heal as a family, which might be the best service we can offer to DEC. If the children are to remain in the home, helping the parents heal will help stop the cycle of abuse for DEC.
