CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS 1. The panels listed on, Attachment One Facility Locations, does not indicate who the manufacturer is. Do you have a list? This will be required due to many Fire Alarm panel are proprietary and are password protected. See Attachment Two 2. In the scope of work you make mention of alarm testing, are you referring to an annual inspection or testing the equipment after the program changes for monitoring have been completed? Testing the equipment after program changes 3. Do you have a list of the panel types and model numbers for Burglar, Water and Fire? See Attachment Two 4. Are there Master codes entered in these systems to prevent others from programming? If so will the awarded company have access to these codes? No pass codes
5. Do all of these systems communicate via phone lines? Yes, except for Brunner House this is a cell phone. 6. Is the City of Broomfield willing and able to sign the Vendor's Monitoring Agreement? The City would consider signing a Vendor's Monitoring Agreement, please supply a copy with submittal. 7. Please confirm your yes response during the meeting that the installation of any dialers that are needed will be invoiced on a Time and Materials basis. Yes - need to include hourly rates and any standard material costs. 8. For each system to be monitored please provide: the make and model of the mail panel, if the panel has an internal dialer, the make and model of the external dialers. See Attachment Two 9. Will after hour testing for alarms be required? Alarms by zone, panels only 10. Are the sump pumps being monitored? Yes 11. Will we be able to reprogram any access codes that are now currently controlled by Simplex? No reprogramming of access codes but monitoring the signals can still be done. 12. Will we strictly enforce the service response time to be no more than one hour after we get a call? How stringent is the one hour time restraint? We have five people on call that can respond.
