Student Accommodation Affordable student accommodation is not easy to find in Hamburg. Therefore, we recommend that you start looking early. Presently, there are 32 halls of residence in Hamburg with 4.898 rooms in different parts of the city. 18 belong to the state-run Studentenwerk (3.224 rooms). Monthly rent including utilities is between EUR 135,- and EUR 210,- per month.
