This tool computes a good approximation for enclosed areas with homogonous pressure distribution. For highly complex geometries or higher short-circuit loads, it is necessary to perform a more detailed pressure calculation using 3D finite elements that factors in dynamic pressure development. In this case, the calculation is performed by a more complex software tool which is also used as a basis for the pressure calculation service provided by your Siemens contact.
