The Ed.D. is designed to facilitate the learning styles of adults and provide a collaborative community for higher-level thinking and problem solving. Undergirding the entire program is critical thinking, scholarly research, writing and learning from a Christian worldview. The capstone project, as with any doctoral program, is the submission and defense of a doctoral dissertation project. The K-12 School Leadership cognate is designed for those seeking initial administrative endorsement. Students seeking this add-on endorsement must already hold a professional teaching license, a copy of which is required with the admissions application, and have completed a minimum of three years teaching experience upon program completion.
