What is Construction InfoNet? Construction InfoNet is an on-line information service, which offers subscribers fast and easy access to construction information and statistics. This service is for subscribers only. You may go to http://www.bca.gov.sg/infonet/construction_infonet.html for more details. How can I access the Construction InfoNet? You will need a user ID and a password to access the Construction InfoNet. To obtain the user ID and password, please subscribe by printing out the subscription form found in this link: http://www.bca.gov.sg/infonet/others/infonet.pdf. Complete the form and mail it together with your cheque payment to 52 Jurong Gateway Road, #11-01, Singapore 608550. Payment by NETS, credit cards or cheques can also be made at the BCA counter at 52 Jurong Gateway Road, #06-01, Singapore 608550. Cheque payments should be payable to Building and Construction Authority. Once we receive the completed subscription form and payment, we will email the user ID and password to the subscriber within 3 working days. How much are the subscription fees? There are 3 rates available (please see the table below): New Subscribers Only (Half Year Trial Period) Yearly Subscription S$145.00 S$290.00 S$780.00 3-Year Subscription Are the published rates inclusive of 7% GST? Yes. What are the payment modes available? You can pay by cheque, direct credit or GIRO. However, only companies with prior GIRO arrangements with BCA can pay by GIRO. Please note that GIRO deductions are done only once a month, usually on the 1st of every month. Payment by NETS, credit cards or cheques can also be made at the BCA counter at 52 Jurong Gateway Road, #06-01, Singapore 608550. What does payment by Direct Credit refer to? It is an interbank funds transfer initiated by the paying organization. Funds are directly credited to BCA s bank account. No, We do not accept funds transfer through ATMs. Can I pay by credit card? Payment by credit cards can only be made at the BCA counter at 52 Jurong Gateway Road, #06-01, Singapore 608550. Are personal accounts allowed? Yes. Can I subscribe online? No, we do not offer on-line application currently. You need to complete the subscription form downloaded from BCA web site and fax it or mail it to us. Alternatively, you may also scan your completed subscription form and send it via email. Please note that we will process your subscription only upon receipt of payment. How long does it take to activate the account? Please allow 3 working days for the account to be activated after the payment is received. What if I need the information urgently? Please come down to our BCA counter at 52 Jurong Gateway Road, #06-01, Singapore 608550 to make payment immediately via NETS, credit cards or cheques. You will receive the login user ID and password through email. Please provide a valid email address in the subscription form. Can I change my user ID and password? Change of user ID and password can only be done by us. Should you wish to change your user ID or password, please write in or email to us. The first change is free of charge. Subsequent requests to change will be charged at S$5.00 (GST included) per request. If you wish to change the user ID and/or password, please observe the following standard: i) The password must be at least 8 characters in length (inclusive of 2 digits); ii) The user ID must be between 5 to 8 characters; iii) The user ID and password can consist of upper and lower case characters (only letters and numbers are allowed). My account has expired 3 years ago. Can I subscribe for the half-year period? No. The half-year trial subscription rate is a special rate for new subscribers only, who have not subscribed to the Construction InfoNet before. Can I share my account with someone else in the same company? Yes. To help companies save costs, subscribers are allowed to share their user ID and password with other staff within the same company. Can my colleagues log into Construction InfoNet at the same time as me? Yes, concurrent logins are allowed. Is this publication available in hardcopy? No. All information in the Construction InfoNet is released on-line. Is there any trial period that I can try out this publication before I decide to subscribe?
