XT and JT Validation Storing the XT b-rep allows you to validate the quality of the precise geometry delivered in the JT file JT Inspector uses Parasolid Bodyshop to run a series of checks on the integrity of the model. Errors can be highlighted using Teamcenter Visualization The JT file can be imported into NX and further analysed using the full Checkmate PDQ capability. 1. XT b-rep and JT Visualisation Tessellation Quality Using Parasolid s stringent modelling paradigms to read the CAD data validates inconsistencies with the original CAD model during the translation process. Validates the CAD data has to be good quality! XT faithfully represents CAD solid topology and geometry Highlights any issues in original CAD data early in process. Corrects issues that it can (i.e. within Parasolid tolerance). A correct solid model result is a more faithful tessellated Visualisation. More accurate sections and analysis from Tessellation.
