Helpful Hints Activate your CPP email and check it often. Meet your advisor at First Opportunity. If you have taken 5 semester units Chemistry course at JC you may get credit for CHM 121/121L & CHM 122/122L Be on time to your first class meetings. You may be dropped, otherwise. Traffic is terrible on campus during the first week. Give yourself enough time to park and get to class early. Late registration: 4 working days before classes start and first 5 days of instruction. Carry a copy of your transcript with you during the first week to show proof of prerequisites. Everything you need to know about the department is on department website. Get familiar with what we have posted.
