N04-13 EEAC To Offer Special Two-Day Version of Basic EEO: Practical Guidance for the EEO Professional October 5-6, 2004 EEAC Training Center Washington, DC EEAC is pleased to announce a special two-day offering of our popular foundation course, Basic EEO: Practical Guidance for the EEO Professional. The seminar will be held on October 5-6, 2004, in EEAC s Training Center in Washington, D.C. The Basic EEO course traditionally is a three-day seminar that covers all of the federal EEO requirements, including a comprehensive overview on the third day of federal affirmative action requirements. This twoday version of the course will condense the affirmative action overview into a much shorter segment, allowing us to cover the full course agenda in two days instead of three. EEAC members interested in skills training on affirmative action compliance strategies will continue to have the option of registering for our comprehensive two and one half day Developing AAPs (http://www.eeac.org/training/aap/index.asp) course. This special two-day version of the Basic EEO seminar will still give participants a solid foundation in laws such as Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act, veterans protections, and how these laws affect various employment transactions. The agenda is presented in a combined lecture/case study format that maximizes interaction between trainers and participants. A copy of the agenda is attached. Please note that registration is limited to 20 attendees, and we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Dress is business casual. The EEAC Training Center is located at 1015 15 th Street, N.W., in downtown Washington, D.C., convenient to the Metro. 3/12/04
