< Preface > Thank you for using the FRAP The mechanism of certificate management used for Windows 7 has been changed from that of earlier Windows consequently, you might encounter problems when you acquire or renew certificates with Windows 7. This document provides information on the operations that are necessary to acquire or renew certificates in a Windows 7environment with Internet Explorer11 (IE11) installed. pg. 1-2

1 < Preparation Before Acquiring or Renewing Certificates >

1.1 < Certificate Site Name is registered in Trusted sites > < Registration procedure > Set up the security level register FRAP Certificate Issuing Service Site to the Trusted sites in Internet Explorer. Please proceed with the procedures below. (1) Open Internet Explorer. And select [Tools] > [Internet Options]- Figure 1-1(1),(2) (1) (2) <Figure 1-1> Internet Explorer pulldown menu (2) Select the [Security] tab from the displayed Internet Options dialog-figure 1-2(3) (3) Select [Trusted sites] from the [Select a zone to view or change security settings] (4), and click the [Sites] button (5) pg. 1-5

1.3 < Confirm the Manage Add-ons > To establish the running Add on for Internet Explorer, please confirm and set up the Add on. (1) Open Internet Explorer, and select [Tools] > [Manage Add-ons] Figure 3-1(1),(2). Please proceed with the procedures below for install to root certificates. (1) Please access to URL below. URL: http://www.download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/v3/static/t rustedr/en/rootsupd.exe (2) If the File Download dialog is displayed, Click to [Run] button the dialog - Figure 4-2 (1). Close all the Internet Explorer windows, and try the acquisition procedure of certificate again. Error Message If you attempt to aquire certificates using Windows 7 without first performing the preparation procedures, an error message may appear as shown in Figure 5. If this appears, certificates can not be acquired, even if you attempt to re-do the procedures. In such case, please ask an administrator to re-issue the certificate. <Figure 5> VBScript error message pg. 1-17
