Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system maintenance life cycle Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations. May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Demonstrates expertise in standard concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Perform various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of supportability and maintainability and overall repair of systems throughout their life cycles. Develop and evaluate various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents and plans. Years Education of Exp 6 Bachelor's Degree in engineering, physics, or equivalent technical degree is required. 6 Bachelor's Degree in engineering discipline required. 5 Bachelor's degree in Service Contract Act: The Service Contract Act (SCA) is applicable to this contract as it applies to the entire PES Schedule and all services provided. While no specific labor categories have been identified as being subject to SCA due to exemptions for professional employees (FAR 22.1101, 22.1102 and 29 CRF 541.300), this contract still maintains the provisions and protections for SCA eligible labor categories.
