OPENING SCREEN Time to verify your dongle and create an event.

Click on to add gender, age class & codex Choose +, then double click on Category = Age Class Gender = Men/Women Codex = USSA code Event points = yes/no At this time the recommendation is to run one gender per event file until comfortable with filters. Codex and Gender

Printing Parameters OC can choose from different Fonts Font Size Logos Watermarks General layout Can be saved for future use

Adding Points List Click on Import Button to open List Choice screen. Click on Update to obtain list download screen

Enter the points list Click on Download List or Search of the Last List When the green square shows up, click ok and both the USSA and FIS lists, athlete and officials will load. Clicking OK will open the athlete list Verifying Points List Course homologation info is downloaded with the points list!

Points List Entering Individual Athletes Enter Last Name of the athlete. Once highlighted, double click, or hit F1, to enter athlete into the event file. Filters can be set up to enter blocks of athletes. To be addressed later.

Competitor Fields Prior to importing competitors from an excel, define your competitor fields. Choose Options and then Competitor Fields Double click to make item active or inactive, notated by green check and red no symbols

Importing Athletes via Excel 1 st way Select file to import Line up fields in the Data Agreement section. Choose Import

Paste/Import Athletes via Excel -2 nd way Copy fields needed from your open excel file Choose Options import competitors from a file Paste and athletes populate in the Data Agreement window

Verifying Import Numbers Match 83 in the excel, 83 imported into the race file

Updating Points After Excel Import Click on Options Button Choose Update Competitors from a Federation File.

Updating Points Confirm correct discipline/event is checked Click OK Reminder: always proof your points after import

Choose F1 to open the Officials List. Parameters Header Officials, Forerunners, etc. At this time, manual entry of all forerunner data is required. Choose copy, then select arrow to get run 2, choose paste to enter the data into the 2 nd run. Click on the folder icon to select course data, if courses were downloaded with points list.

Quick Sort in Event File Green arrow signals the column you are currently sorted by. Double click on column header to change the sort.

Choose Selection Draw and Assign Bibs - Scored According to Ski Rules X Best(draw) This will Randomize the top 15 and the 999.99

Creating a Start List Choose Manage Runs Choose Start List Choose Options Choose Prepare with Competitors

Creating a Start List Start Order by Bib Choose OK to open Filter

Creating a Start List Click on Add to load the start list Choose Close to complete the task

To get rid of this start list Click on Delete the List Clearing a Start List

Run(Print) a Start List Choose Run a Start List Choose Run 1 Click on OK

From the run start list box, you can create custom start list and save the settings, or click on Preview to review and Print. Run(Print) a Start List

Condensed Start List With or without the header Choose 2 Columns

Missing bib shift in numbering Right click where you are missing a bib.

Missing bib shift in numbering Enter how many bibs are missing, click OK. Bib adjustment is made and returns to Manage Competitors screen.

Inserting a Late Racer/Entry Return to Manage Runs Open Start List Click above athlete, hold and drag to their start location Athletes can be entered via the timing screen, too. To be addressed later.

Timing Unlock Start and Finish: Highlight first competitor and click on the green circle icon (green light), or double click on red dot to turn it green

Double Click on bib box, type in Forerunner Bib #. Timing - Forerunners

Timing DNS.False Finish Highlight bib in Start Box Choose DNS Icon at top or right click and choose status: Did not Start False Finish Click on bib that has finished, choose X (unactive passage) icon Same process for False Start

Timing Uncertain of Bib # Finishing Double click on the green finish dot to make it red Finish impulse will bring up a warning box Enter which bib actually finished

Timing First Run Complete Confirm Data

Timing Other Items Keep track of run records in the Inquiries box. To correct a bib entry, i.e. a pass: Double click on bib, enter correct bib. To change a finish to an unactive passage double click on the green check mark to create the red x.

DSQ Click on Modify Data Type in bib Status = Disqualified Enter Gate # or Rule #

1 st Run Results Choose Ranking After Run Choose run 1 Click on OK Preview or Print in the next screen

Creating 2 nd Run Start List Click on arrow to Run 2 Click on Start List button Click on Options button Choose Prepare Ranking After A Run

Results Choose Final Ranking to load overall results. Final Ranking box will open, preview or print results.
