NOTICE OF PERMANENT POSITION CO-OP ADMIN ASSISTANT Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant with superb people skills? Flexible when possible, firm when necessary, always kind? Then, this position may be for you! New Hibret Co-operative Homes Inc. is a 141 household apartment building located in the downtown Toronto. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is contract and reports to and works closely with the Co-op Manager. The successful applicant will have the following experience and skills: Primary responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service at the office front desk. Passionately connect and build rapport with a variety of clients and their changing needs; Complete accurate transactions with a sense of urgency and an eye for detail; Tactfully deal with stressful situations and take appropriate action to efficiently resolve issues; Take accountability to solve issues from beginning to end; Receive and incorporate feedback to improve personal and business performance; Able to work under minimum supervision. Coordinating and administrating the filling of vacant units. Maintaining electronic and paper filing in a proficient manner. Working as part of a team with other staff and volunteers. Qualifications: Must have 3 years+ administrative experience. Prior Co- op, Non-profit and RGI administration experience is an asset. Knowledge of HM work and New Views is an asset.
