FDM AND MUREX PARTNERSHIP About FDM s MX.3 Service FDM has partnered with Murex to introduce a tailored MX.3 training pathway into FDM s awardwinning technical training Academy. MX.3 is a comprehensive platform that provides trade and risk management capabilities across all asset classes for investment banks, wealth management companies and utility and energy providers. The training programme, delivered by FDM, produces Consultants with first line support knowledge and capabilities, together with a best practice approach to the common configuration issues faced within the front to back office use of the MX.3 application. This is ensured by both practical exercises and developing troubleshooting skills by working through known incident case studies. FDM s unique service is currently delivering fully trained MX.3 Consultants, supporting MX.3 production environments from day one, for clients across a range of industries. FDM MX.3 Training Content FDM Consultants are fully-trained in the configuration aspects of trade pricing and the respective market data supporting the various asset classes, as well as trade management from a pre-trade sequence aspect, simulation and P&L. They have the ability to interrogate the contract and deliverable workflows, the configuration and contribution of financial and of non-financial static data that make up the attributes of a trade from a back office perspective. Also taught is the support of the reporting configuration as well as the rules of the accounting module and their respective components. From a technical skills capability, the candidates will be able to support the services being run on the servers, troubleshoot the market data input through the Murex Real Time Bridging Service, and read the XML that make up the validation scripts within workflows, as well as the scripts within the UNIX server environment. THE CALIBRE OF PEOPLE I HAVE IN MY TEAM FROM FDM ARE OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD. Production Support Manager, HSBC I HAVE ONLY EVER RECEIVED QUALITY CONSULTANTS AND VERY OFTEN RECOMMEND FDM AS A RESULT OF MY EXPERIENCE. Development Team Leader, Credit Suisse
