Center for International Medical Education Educational Opportunities In keeping with our mission educating those who serve the Center for International Medical Education offers exceptional international education opportunities for thousands of physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, administrators and alumni worldwide each year. Cleveland Clinic Global Physician Associates will have facilitated access to the following programs: Observerships. Invitational symposia. Tours. Education programs. International Physician Observer Program More than 600 international physicians participate in our observership program each year. Participants can observe clinical interactions, participate in teaching conferences and watch surgeries. Rotations are two to four weeks in length and can be renewed for another four weeks with the consent of the observer and the supervising physician. Our Physician Speakers Program makes Cleveland Clinic specialists available to travel abroad to lecture and present case studies that highlight our expertise in cutting-edge procedures and novel technologies. Using sophisticated teleconference technology, we routinely offer live-case transmissions for medical symposia around the world. Participants at multiple sites can take part in these teleconferences. Training the Physicians of Tomorrow Fellowship Programs Cleveland Clinic sponsors one of the largest graduate medical education programs in the United States. We offer a variety of accredited and nonaccredited fellowship opportunities. We have more than 880 trainees participating in 61 programs accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and in 100 advanced fellowship programs.
