Accelerated Programs: Washington s Public Baccalaureates Senate Bill 5442 defined accelerated baccalaureate degree programs as: As a program for academically qualified students A program that does not represent a new three- year standard for all students An opportunity to expand opkons while not diminishing the quality or value of a standard baccalaureate degree A program that explores reasonable possibilikes for this pathway A program that does not require summer classes nor enrollment in more than a full- Kme class load and allows students to begin course work within their academic field during their first term or semester of enrollment The Council of Presidents 2015 5
