Financial planning Service Proposition Thank you for considering Cilbenrick for your financial planning needs. We appreciate that choosing the right financial planner is extremely important, as together you will make some very important decisions which can have a profound effect on your financial future and lifestyle. If you are looking for a friendly and professional relationship to help you plan your future, then we believe that Cilbenrick can help. This document provides an overview of services we offer, our charges for delivering those services and payment methods. This document should be read in conjunction with our Client Agreement which sets out the terms under which our services are to be provided. Cilbenrick Limited is a financial planning business, focussed on helping you understand and plan for your financial future. We are also able to act on your behalf in advising you on investments and non-investment insurance contracts. We offer you an initial discussion (without charge) at which we will describe our services more fully and explain the payment options. Following our initial discussion, should you decide to go ahead there is a cost for our advice and services. For any aspect of our financial planning all actual charges and fees will be fully disclosed to you. We will not charge you until we have discussed your payment options and agreed with you how we are to be paid. We will also let you know if there are any other costs that might arise in connection with the services we provide to you. Our charges/fees will be VAT exempt unless the work we provide for you only involves advice and/or preparing a report, in which case VAT may be applicable. We will always tell you if you have to pay VAT before we undertake any work for you. Charges for the ongoing service will not be liable to VAT (unless the initial service was liable to VAT) where both the initial and ongoing services are part of the same package.

Financial Management Programme At Cilbenrick, we have created an innovative step-by-step financial planning process, the Financial Management Programme, which is designed to protect and enhance your wealth and allow you to achieve your desired lifestyle. We enjoy successful working relationships with people from all walks of life; however the Financial Management Programme is exclusively for those who we have found to derive the greatest benefit from the programme, namely: business owners with a family and household income > 75k p.a. We use sophisticated financial planning technology to provide you with a comprehensive, but easy-to-understand, audit of your income, expenditure, assets and liabilities. The cornerstone of your financial plan will be your life-long cashflow forecast, which will illustrate how your wealth is projected to fluctuate over time. An example of a cashflow forecast chart, showing how one family s readily realisable assets (savings and investments) is projected to fluctuate through their lifetimes.

The Financial Management Programme consists of the following five modules which clients choose to engage depending on their circumstances. Risk Management Through computer modelling we can test the impact of a range of catastrophe scenarios (ill health, premature death, redundancy, early retirement) on your lifelong cashflow forecast to see the effects that they have and whether or not you will be able to maintain your desired lifestyle under such circumstances. Asset Management For many people, a strong and successful investment portfolio is vital to the achievement of their desired lifestyle. Cilbenrick design and manage portfolios which provide the opportunity for long-term growth, through investment in a diverse range of asset types. Retirement Planning Your lifelong cashflow forecast illustrates how your wealth is projected to fluctuate through your retirement. We advise you on the most suitable and efficient retirement funding options, such as pensions, investments and property. Estate Planning We will look at the composition of your estate, discuss any inheritance tax liabilities with you and how these may be minimised or erased through the use of wills, trusts and tax planning strategies. Central to any proposals will be the reservation of adequate resources to ensure you have sufficient means to live well and afford the cost of care should the need arise. Business Planning Many of our clients are owners of small to medium sized businesses. We offer innovative and constructive advice in the following areas. Business Protection Property Ownership Pension Funding Exit Strategy Income Tax Mitigation Asset Ringfencing Corporation Tax Planning Company Structure

The Financial Management Programme can be a one off exercise or a regular annual event where we are retained for as long as you are getting value and benefit from the programme. You are asked to pay for the Financial Management Programme in two ways: Monetary Fees An initial fee of 1,200 for the first financial plan, plus A monthly retainer of 100 ( 20 per module) for revised plans in subsequent years and ongoing access to advice. The initial fee we charge is less than half of the time-based cost of the programme. To facilitate this, the monetary fee is supplemented by client referrals. Client Referrals If you are happy with the work we have done, we would ask you to help us grow our business by referring us to like-minded others, such as friends, family members and colleagues. Growing our practice through referrals enables us to maintain our lower fees and allows us to spend more of our time working for you and those who you refer to us. Financial Management Programme Please indicate which modules you would like to subscribe to: Risk Management 20 per month Asset Management 20 per month Retirement Planning 20 per month Estate Planning 20 per month Business Planning 20 per month Total monetary fee: per month

Investment Advice At Cilbenrick, we understand that your investment returns will affect your standard of living, the stability of your retirement, and your ability to provide for your family as you would hope to. Our investment philosophy has therefore been given very careful consideration and is based on sound investment principles which are described in our Investment Philosophy document. There are numerous ways to approach the construction and on-going management of an investment portfolio. Without the application of a robust process, the emotional aspects of investing can prevent investors from making the best decisions. Cilbenrick consistently apply a multi-stage investment advice process which will ensure the delivery of suitable advice to every client. The outcome is tailored to meet individual objectives but the process itself is always the same. We provide an independent advice service. This means that we will make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs. Our recommendations will be based on a comprehensive and fair analysis of the market. Please refer to Cilbenrick s Investment Philosophy document for more information. Investment Advice Please indicate which initial service you would like: Existing portfolio review 1,500 New portfolio establishment advice 1,000 Existing Cilbenrick portfolio top-up advice 500 N.B. These fees are payable only if our recommendations are accepted and implemented Ongoing fees and will depend on the ongoing services required and will be confirmed to you. You may pay our charges via deductions from the financial product(s) that you might invest in, where the product/platform provider allows this. Please note that if you choose to pay by deduction from a financial product this will reduce the amount left for investment and may, depending on your circumstances, have other consequences. Although you may pay nothing to us up front that does not mean that our service is free. You still pay us indirectly through deductions from the amount you pay into your product. If your investments are held on a platform (a platform is an online investment administration service) you may choose to pay our charges out of the funds held within the platform cash account (where the platform provider offers this facility).
