2 3 WARNING To ensure that you use the system correctly and safely, please read the following warnings carefully. Do not place the main unit in rainy, humid or similar conditions. Do not expose the system to explosive or flammable conditions. Please contact your retailer for advice on using non-original electrical devices. The battery must be fully charged before using the Atlas for the first time. Remove the fuse if the solar module has been disconnected from the main unit for more than 1 month. Otherwise, the amount of electric energy will decrease, and the Atlas may not work properly. Do not disassemble the main system unit; this could cause partial system failure or damage the system. This is a DC system. Using non-original power for charging purposes is not allowed. Reduce the USB load to minimize the interference when you are playing radio. The system output would be automatically shut down when the battery is over-discharge. Keep the system clean and well ventilated. Do not cover or jam the main unit in any way. Consistently overcast and rainy weather will result in an insufficient amount of system power. In this case, please reduce the load or reduce the electricity load time.
4 5 1.0 INTRODUCTION 2.0 Functions 4.0 Specifications (including optional parts) Atlas Solar Home System (SHS) is an off-grid solar system. The system consists of PV module, controller, battery and LED lamps. It transforms sunlight into DC electricity and stores energy into the battery. The battery can be used for LED lamp or other small DC devices. The system is designed for rural areas where no grid exists and can also be adapted to emergency, camping, RV and other outdoor activities. > Lighting function > USB power for small DC devices > Built-in FM radio (optional) Rated 12V Output: 12 V / 2.5 A Rated USB Output: 5 V / 2 A, 5 V / 1 A Solar Module: DC 17.5 V 20 Wp / 30 Wp / 50 Wp Battery: DC 12 V 18 Ah / 24 Ah / 33 Ah Lamp: DC 12 V 3 W Radio: FM radio (Optional) Operating Condition: 0~45, 0~85% Site Altitude: < 1000 m IP Grade: Indoor use, IP 20 Dimensions (L*W*H) (mm): Main unit 345*249*321 Net Weight (kg): CSFDC-20-1218B1, 13.1 kg; CSFDC-30-1224B1, CSFDC-30-1224B2 15 kg; CSFDC-50-1233B1, CSFDC-50-1233B2 19.6 kg Controller Load 5.0 Installation and operation Solar Module Battery 3.0 System Components Solar module Main unit LED lamp & cable Support Rack (Optional) Step 1 Install fuse Step 2 (support rack optional) Install the support rack to PV module and adjust the angle to make the PV module toward the sun Step 3 Connect the PV cable to the PV socket and lock the connector 1PCS 1PCS 2 PCS 1 PCS Step 4 Lighting the lamp Step 5 Power the USB devices Connect the lamps to the main unit and turn on the switch on the lamp cable Connect the USB cable to the USB socket *Short press to check the capacity of battery before power the USB devices
