SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM USING TVCC SAFECAM System The SafeCam system for video surveillance concurs to carry out the control and the video recording, in remote, constantly and in real time, of the specific zones, thanks to the Service of SafeCam Video Server. The images transmitted from the TVCC can be visualized in the Operating Center assigned to the surveillance, or near the customer on appropriate web pages with access controlled through password or still on the display of the GPRS/UMTS cell phone through the Client E-Sentinel software The connection with the watched area can be activated through various technologies, from normal PSTN/ISDN/ADSL lines, to the RF transmission or the OPTIC FIBER. Alarm Signals in Real Time This functionality allows in real time to be advised about alarm events; in this way, the customer have at his disposal all the functionalities of a traditional Operating Center, with the difference that these come realized via Internet, instead on site. Motion Detection functionality. The E-Guardian device is supplied, for every channel connected to analogic or digital video input, of a complex algorithm of motion detection, in a position to detect the movement of persons or things moving in front of the objective of one of the TVCC. Once happened the automatic validation, it will be generated an alarm signal that will come immediately sent to the Structure of Alarms management. This function can be always active or can be activated in determined hour bands. Sending of SMS allarms. Another possibility is to send SMS, in presence of an alarm signal, to the customer and/or to one or more of Its collaborators, in order to signal the event, therefore from being able to verify the situation being connected via Internet. Optional function: E-Sentinel The environment security system can include an innovative functionality that allows the sending of the images resumed from the TVCC to a cell phone endowed with Simbian 61 operating system. The images recorded from the TVCC can be sent to the cell phone in two cases, a. in presence of one specific request from the customer, and b. in the case in which the system itself finds an intrusion. a. on Customer Demand 8
the customer can send a request to examine on his GPRS/UMTS cell phone display the real time images specifying the interested TVCC. In order to specify the TVCC it is sufficient to select the id number of the wished TVCC. Those numbers will be assigned at the service activation time b. Intrusion detected by the security system In presence of an anti intrusion alarm, the system is able to send both alarm signals and images, captured by the TVCC placed in correspondence of the area subject to alarm, to the cell phones selected by the customer. Optional function: Operating Center Service LASER NAVIGATION is in the position to provide, according to the customer needs, a monitorino service, by means of a Service Company endowed with an H24 Operating Center. In case of alarm, the Center operator will start the event monitoring through the TVCC, activating the recording of the images, contacting the customer and the police enforcements. The operator can moreover transmit to the GPRS cell phones, selected by the customer, the most meaningful images recorded by TVCC, so as to allow the best aknoledgement of the situation. 9
