In cases where any disability obstructs participation in courses, assistance is offered. The students are informed of their rights as students at Mälardalen University. Otherwise we work according to the University s Policy and Action Plan for Equality and Equal Opportunities and that is published (in Swedish only) on the University website. Other regulations For every course at the University, the forms of how the students performances are to be assessed, such as types of examination for course components and grades, are stated in the course syllabus. Examination for a course is summarily described in the course syllabus, which is clarified and supplemented by written information at the start of the course. The University has laid down rules and regulations for examination, and these are available via the University s website.
