1 Known Issues This section describes issues associated with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service. Topics: Supported Browsers Known Issues Supported Browsers This topic describes the minimum requirements for web browsers that Oracle BI Cloud Service supports. Web Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox Apple Safari Version 11 and later 29 and later 24 and later 7 and later Known Issues This topic identifies known issues associated with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service. Topics: Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile Issues and Workarounds Restrictions Working with Data Files Restrictions on Working with Analyses and Dashboards Issues Using Database as a Service with Oracle BI Cloud Service Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile Issues and Workarounds Issues and workarounds for Oracle BI Mobile are described in Oracle Fusion Middleware Release Notes for Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile for Apple ios and Google Android available at: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/e52471_01/bi.1111/e52669/toc.htm Known Issues 1-1

Known Issues Restrictions Working with Data Files Issues and workarounds working with data files. You only see data files you ve uploaded and files that other people share with you, from the Manage Datasets page in the Console. The data storage quota and space usage information displayed on the Manage Datasets page reflects the quota for the entire service. Don t close the Upload a File dialog if you want to cancel an upload. This might create an orphan data file that counts against the quota. Restrictions on Working with Analyses and Dashboards Some features are disabled for security reasons: As you work with analyses and dashboards, you can set various HTML properties that affect formatting. When you try to save an analysis or dashboard after editing properties related to HTML, you are prevented from saving it. On the Properties menu for sections, you might see an option for Condition. On the Action Link Properties dialog, you might see an option for Conditionally. These options are not operative in this release. Issues Using Database as a Service with Oracle BI Cloud Service Issues and workarounds when integrating Oracle BI Cloud Service with Oracle Database Cloud - Database as a Service: Improving the Query Performance for On Premises Data Models Connected to Database as a Service If you are using Oracle BI Cloud Service to analyze on-premises data models, set DEFAULT_BULK_FETCH_ROW_COUNT to 1000 to ensure the best query performance. 1. Open the data model file (.rpd) in Oracle BI Administration Tool. 2. Double-click the Physical database, then select Features. 3. Click Find and enter: DEFAULT_BULK_FETCH_ROW_COUNT 4. Change Value and Default to 1000. 5. Repeat for each physical database listed in the data model file. 6. Re-run consistency checks and then upload the updated data model file to Oracle BI Cloud Service. Note: You can ignore consistency check error 39028, if displayed. Constraints on Using Database as a Service with Data Modeler When you model data using Data Modeler in Oracle BI Cloud Service and the source of the data is Database as a Service, users of analyses and Visual Analyzer 1-2 Known Issues for Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Service
