The and Budgeting Cloud Service puts an end to that. Based on Oracle Hyperion, a company-wide planning, budgeting and forecasting process is made available, in which charts from different divisions can be adjusted based on rules. The planner can immediately see the financial impact of his operating assumptions; he can analyze them and correct them if necessary. The and Budgeting Cloud Service constitutes the heart of the PROMATIS Enterprise Cloud. In these, PROMATIS combines field-tested reference processes with the most innovative Enterprise Cloud currently offered on the market. The results are continuous and inter-corporate business processes that can be implemented easily and economically. Covering the Entire Life Cycle in Terms of Functionalities Integrated Corporate ERP Functionalities for Experts and Management in Strategic and Operative Business The and Budgeting Cloud Service is not only characterized by the comfortable workflow support, but also by the extensive functionalities for collaboration, analysis, and reporting as well as the integration of the environment. Of course, mobile users can be involved in the planning process as well. The scalability is impressive: From small planning departments through to group planning with complex planning models and thousands of planners. Hyperion ERP Oracle Hyperion is a flexible web application that integrates Microsoft Office. It supports corporate planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Thanks to a modeling framework it is possible to compare operative assumptions with actual financial results. This is done by means of mapping a hierarchic planning process that shows both corporate financing and the operative business areas. That said, Oracle Hyperion meets all demands made for a forward-looking system for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. At the same time, the platform allows for future integration of functional-spanning and automated processes. The ERP integration enables a lightweight, fast, and yet robust nature of data integration, ensuring high data quality. The open and extensible system can also integrate data from previously unused data silos or other systems optimally. Thus, a seamless data exchange with all company databases, ERP systems and other central sources is made possible. Oracle and Budgeting Cloud Service offers a comprehensive Microsoft Office tools integration for e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Users thus have access to planning tasks and due dates within the Microsoft Outlook task list and calendar. In addition, planning forms can be created with both Microsoft Excel as well as with the web-based interface, e.g. the access to the same menu options and toolbars is possible. This enables the creation of optimal custom documents and presentations, whereas, the user can automatically update reports as soon as a database is updated. The result: reduced manual intervention, improved data integrity and increased reporting accuracy. 2014 PROMATIS software GmbH, Ettlingen (TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe), Germany 2
in a Serviceoriented Architecture (SOA) Seamless of and Applications Standard-based PROMATIS Process Appliance Continuous Business Processes even across Corporate Borders Business Process Excellence with Enterprise Cloud requires continuous business processes also across company borders. It is necessary to integrate cloud services seamlessly into the business process to ensure functionally correct processing and data supply without media breaks. The PROMATIS Enterprise Cloud are equipped with Web service interfaces for this purpose. The result: openness for the integration in line with a service-oriented architecture. Especially in value-adding business processes, the business functionality lies not in a single cloud service, but extends across multiple services and enterprise applications. The quality and efficiency of the integration of the functionality components then becomes the decisive beneficial factor of the process. For the implementation of such business processes, PROMATIS recommends building a service-oriented architecture based on the Oracle SOA Suite. In addition to the Oracle Service Bus, the BPEL Process Manager is integrated with a powerful business rules engine and a variety of certified integration adaptors. Business Activity Monitoring and BPEL monitoring functions complete the product range. The PROMATIS Process Appliance based on industry standards guarantees high productivity, even with complex integration requirements. It combines the Oracle SOA Suite with PROMATIS Best Practice reference models and services. Figure: PROMATIS Process Appliance Integrating External Business Partners Driven by global networking and a changing consumer behavior, today s largest improvement potential lies in enterprise-wide process concepts and the provision of self-service functions. To tap this potential, efficient B2B integrations have to be realized. Here, PROMATIS also relies on a standards based integration with the components of the Oracle SOA Suite. The key to success is the B2B adapters that support industry standards such as EDI, UCCnet, RosettaNet, CIDX, PIGB, VICS, ebxml, and UBL. 2014 PROMATIS software GmbH, Ettlingen (TechnologyRegion Karlsruhe), Germany 3
