SITE ASBESTOS PROCEDURES In accordance with asbestos policy and relevant legislative requirements, this property originally had a Management asbestos survey conducted in line with HSG 264: Asbestos: The Surveyors Guide. Asbestos containing materials have been identified within the scope of the survey of this site. The identified asbestos containing materials do not present a risk to health unless physically disturbed. Re-inspections were carried out in accordance with HSG 264: Asbestos: The Surveyors Guide. Prior to general maintenance or repair works commencing all contractors must review the attached asbestos register sheets. If the required works can be conducted without the possibility of disturbing (e.g. drilling, abrading, vibrating or any other physical impact) any identified asbestos containing material or areas previously not accessed then works may proceed WITH CAUTION, taking care to heed any site specific instructions and or warning signs or labels. Please sign the attached contractor s sheet to confirm you have read this page and the asbestos register. If the required works shall, or are likely to, disturb either identified asbestos containing materials or areas listed as previously being NO ACCESS, contact MUST be made with the following department prior to commencing works. Ensafe Consultants Tel: 01604 878190 Please note irrespective of the survey results and asbestos register, should any person encounter material they SUSPECT may contain asbestos or discover damage to previously identified asbestos containing materials in any area STOP WORKS IMMEDIATELY & CONTACT THE DEPARTMENT DETAILED ABOVE If this register is being consulted prior to a planned major refurbishment, alterations or demolition it must be noted that a Refurbishment / Demolition survey may be required. Please contact the department detailed above to discuss prior to progressing any such works. Ensafe Consultants Project Ref: J51778 Page 2 of 85

NO ACCESS AREAS Due to the generally non-destructive nature of the Asbestos Management Survey there are areas and locations that are not usually included within the survey inspection. The following is the list of limitation and exclusion which were previously highlighted to the client and agreed prior to the commencement of the survey. As such, unless detailed within the survey report, these areas have not been accessed. Wall, floor, ceilings and other sealed voids and boxing. Behind decorative timber cladding. Beneath existing metal encase insulation. Within sealed storage or machinery/plant (filing cabinets, safes, cookers, boilers, heaters etc.) Within live electrics. Inside fire doors and door panels. Under pre-cast concrete floors. Floor and ceiling joists or window and door frames where adhoc packers may have been utilized. Behind or beneath existing asbestos containing materials. Areas already deemed as an unsafe structure such as failing floorboards, un-boarded loft areas, flooded areas and confined spaces unless by prior arrangement with appropriate safety precautions in place. Below top soil or other surfaces to the external of the structure or internally to sub floor areas. Any items stored within the buildings which do not form part of the fabric or structure of the building (boxes, cupboards and storage crates etc.) Ensafe Consultants Project Ref: J51778 Page 3 of 85

No access areas specific to this site. The following section details areas that during the time of the survey were inaccessible. Although these areas may be accessible at other times, for the reasons specified they were not available during the survey. As such the client should assume that all of the following areas contain asbestos until a further survey can be undertaken at a time when these areas are available for inspection. Building Floor Room Access Restriction 001 Factory 00 - Lower Ground Floor Floor ducts The floor ducts were not accessed as they were too heavy for safe lifting without lifting equipment. The forklift trucks were operating at the time of the survey. 001 Factory 01 Ground Floor 038 Male W.C - Above Ceiling Tiles Ceiling tiles in room 038 Male W.C could not be inspected as lifting them would cause them to break and cause unacceptable decorative damage, this was agreed with the site manager. 001 Factory 01 Ground Floor 064 Female Locker - Sanitary Dispenser The door was locked at the time of survey. Consequently no access was gained to this area. 001 Factory 02 First Floor Various - Ceiling Tiles The ceiling tiles in rooms: 013 Meeting Room, 018 and 022 Male W.C's, could not be inspected as lifting them would cause them to break and cause unacceptable decorative damage, this was agreed with the site manager. 001 Factory 02 First Floor Various - Sealed boxings The sealed boxings were not accessed due to excessive decorative damage for the nature of the survey. These were in rooms 018 & 022 Male W.C's, 020 Female W.C's, 004 Bathroom, 027 Corridor, 026 Store, 025 Office and 036 Male W.C's. 002 Factory 01 Ground Floor 003 Lift The lift was not accessed at the time of the survey as it was live and would require a lift engineer for a full safe inspection. Ensafe Consultants Project Ref: J51778 Page 4 of 85

Building Floor Room Access Restriction 002 Factory 02 First Floor 009 Lift The lift was not accessed at the time of the survey as it was live and would require a lift engineer for a full safe inspection. Ensafe Consultants Project Ref: J51778 Page 5 of 85
