Each chapter is clearly set out in an easily recognisable format with the traditional end-of-chapter questions and exercises. However, an excellent addition to this book is the colour-coded sections giving a range of helpful features. The questions, exercises and case studies provide a range of activities that test all the academic skills and give plenty of practice for AQA examination-style questions. The book is full of relevant, up-to-date examples drawn from the business world, including some unfamiliar but interesting ones. The introduction says the book has been written specifically to meet the needs of those taking the AQA specification, and, in the words of a well-known DIY preparation, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Overall, I found this to be an excellent textbook for AS Business Studies and would recommend it as standard to my students.
