In case income limits are surpassed, the study grant will be revoked for the year in question. For the verification of the income limits, studentship assignees shall annually declare the income earned and notify exceeding of the prescribed limit. The costs for the funding of studentships not covered by funds allocated by the decrees of the Ministry of Education, University and Research may be covered by Università Cattolica with its own budget: with specifically-destined funds, with university funds for scientific research, with third-party-funded research sums, or through agreements with parties outside the University to be signed prior to the issue of the public announcement, also in accordance with the laws in force. The studentships are annual and are renewed provided that the PhD students have completed the programme of activities set for the previous year. The study grants are paid in monthly instalments. If, after obtaining the PhD degree, the employment relation with the public administration is terminated by the employee within two years, amounts paid have to be reimbursed. Candidates previously in receipt of grants, if only for one year, are excluded from receipt of PhD studentships. PhD students not in receipt of any study grant are required to pay annual tuition fees in the amount of 2,000.00 (two thousand/00), to be paid in two instalments, one on enrolment or renewal of registration, and one on June 30 th of each year. Art. 10 Certificates and documents in foreign language Certificates and documents in a foreign language must be translated and legalised by the competent Italian diplomatic or consular offices abroad, and must comply with their national regulation. Art. 11 Obligations of PhD students PhD students are required to regularly participate in the activities set out in their curricula, and to commit to individual and guided study programmes and to carrying out the research activities assigned by the Scientific Board. PhD students may carry out other activities under the current regulation, in any case subject to the authorisation of the Scientific Board. At the end of each year, the activities carried out by PhD students shall be subject to assessment by the Scientific Board on the basis of an individual written report by the students. The admission to the subsequent year is contingent upon positive assessment by the Scientific Board. By order of the Rector, PhD students may be suspended from attending courses and the School, as well as from receiving study grants, in the following cases: maternity, certified serious illness, admission to Medical Postgraduate Schools and to the school for Tirocinio Formativo Attivo (TFA). Upon a motivated resolution by the Scientific Board, a suspension may be decided in the event of serious and proven reasons. Following a suspension, the reinstated PhD student is required to cover for the entire period of suspension. Simultaneous attendance of any Italian Master's, Postgraduate or Advanced - 9 -

The Code of Conduct is available, in paper copy, at the Deans' Office and at the premises of university associations and student movements, and online at the website of Università Cattolica and I-Catt page. Enrolled students are therefore advised to read, and acknowledge it, on their personal I-Catt page in order to share principles and values. Art. 12 Public disclosure This public announcement is published on the website of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore at: http://milano.unicatt.it/dottorati-bandi http://scuoledidottorato.unicatt.it/agrisystem on the Euraxess European website and on the MIUR website.
