When the foundation of your home is compromised with serious cracks and settlement problems, look to IDEAL Foundation Systems to put you back on solid footing. With engineered products and methods, and hundreds of relieved customers, we are your responsible choice when you need foundation repairs. Common Signs of Foundation Settlement Exterior Cracks in Foundation Walls Cracks in Brickwork Misaligned Doors and Windows Gap Between Chimney and House Gaps and Cracks in Unusual Places INTERIOR Cracks in Walls and Ceilings Sloping Floors Cracks in Tile and Concrete Floors Difficulty Opening Doors and Windows Gaps Around Fireplace and Wall Stresses and Strains to Plumbing, Electrical and Gas Lines

The solution An Foundation Systems certified installer will analyze the foundation and gather necessary data for remediation design. Soil information will need to be obtained to determine pier depth necessary to achieve desired capacity for each pile. A final design is presented indicating pile locations, 1 2 3 helix size, central shaft requirements and bracket specifications. 4 The foundation remediation process is completed.

The 1 process 2 First, we excavate down to the footing of the affected foundation wall. 3 4 Then the piles are drilled to the depth determined in the design process to achieve the capacity required to support the structure. Next, we notch the footing and prepare for placement of the patented underpinning bracket. Once the piles are drilled to the depth required, the bracket is installed and the weight load of the wall is transferred to the helical pile assembly. 5 6 The foundation wall is lifted to the desired elevation and the structure is permanently stabilized. Cracks below the surface level of the landscape are repaired, the excavation is back-filled, and the project is completed.

The advantage The round shaft helical pile is superior to push piers, friction piers, and pipe piers. HD278 Helical PILE Round Push Piers, Friction Piers and Pipe All hot-dipped galvanized components. 100-year design life in most soils! Usually bare steel or spray-on coating. Standard 100 bearing surface. 10X more bearing surface! Piles are turned in by strong torque motor independent of the foundation. Protects your foundation! Piles are made with heavy wall-high strength material with bolted connections that are capable of turning through obstructions. Piles can be advanced to depth necessary for permanent stabilization! Standard 2.94-12.56 square inch bearing surface. Uses your already distressed foundation to push against as a counter force for driving in pile. Hydraulic rams push thin wall material into the soil in most cases will not advance to proper depth if obstructions are encountered.

Our round shaft helical piles have distinct advantages over square shaft helical piers. HD278 Helical PILE Square Shaft Helical Piles Standard round shaft has Square shaft standard higher torque capabilities: piers can be torqued to 8-11,000 ft. pounds. a maximum of 5,500 ft. pounds. The Greater pier capacity for the same advantage Greater section modulus for the same cross section of steel. Minimal deflection in soft soils! Couplings are double-bolted, ultra-rigid connections. Less deflection in long lengths and soft soils! Allows for post-installation depth and plumbness inspection. No costly, continuous on-site inspection is required. Square shaft piers fail dramatically on a consistent basis during buckling tests in soft soils. Couplings are single-bolt and loose-fitting with 70% less coupling length. Plumbness and depth verification must be continuously inspected during installation process which increases installation time and adds cost for ongoing inspection services.
