Commercial Projects Arthrex Finishing Building Construction has begun for the Arthrex, Medical Device Finishing Facility in Ave Maria, FL. The building will be approximately 55,000 sq.ft. _01
Kane s Furniture Construction completed March, 2014 for the new Kane s Furniture (former Savon Furniture) in Naples, FL. The retail store, is 60,000 sq.ft., and includes a two-story masonry and steel structure. _01
Covenant Presbyterian Church The expansion at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Naples, FL, includes a 30,000 sq.ft. building with associated sitework. The building houses the new fellowship hall, education classrooms and a full commercial kitchen. The expansion complements the new sanctuary recently opened on the campus. Vi at Bentley Village Sales Center Demolition and new construction of the Vi at Bentley Village Sales Center is complete. Construction took 5 months for the 5,800 sq.ft. new modernized building. The Sales Center marks the opening stages of Vi at Bentley Village s $65 million redevelopment plan including 72 new independent living apartments and two new clubhouses. _01
Gordon Food Service Sarasota Gordon Food Service Sarasota is the second GFS DeAngelis Diamond has completed. The 15,435 sq.ft. retail store is located on Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, FL. This project consisted of a 16,250 sq.ft. pre-engineered metal building. Encompassing additional shelving for storage of product, 2 new walk-in freezer boxes, and one new walk-in cooler box to replace their outdated units. New site drainage piping and structures were installed, including a dry retention area and an asphalt paved, parking and truck routing access area. Lee County Schools District Warehouse Collier County Jail Construction is in progress for the Collier County Jail HVAC renovation. The project will consist of a partial renovation of the HVAC system throughout and will be completed in phases. The process started January 2014, and will be complete December, 2016. _01 Avenue5 Construction is complete on the Avenue5 renovation. The 5,000 sq.ft. space, formerly known as McCabe s Pub and is located in the Inn on 5th hotel, in the heart of downtown Naples.
Arlington of Naples Construction continues on the Arlington of Naples. It will consist of 132 Independent living Units, 37 memory supported Assisted Living Units and 44 Skilled Nursing Units. AON is a continuing care retirement community that consists of 39 acres, 487,000 sq.ft in the Lely Resort in Naples, FL. 01 Beach House of Naples Beach House of Naples is a 95,000 sq.ft., 2 story, assisted living facility located in Naples, FL. Construction has started and is estimated to take 12 months to be completed. Beach House of Naples features a total of 204 units consisting of studio, one and two bedroom layouts, and memory care units. Islandwalk Clubhouse Grace Place Discovery Day Academy New construction of Discovery Day Academy is underway. The 22,000 sq.ft. facility will be complete by the end of July 2015. This private school sets the foundation for global competitiveness that teaches 21st century skills. The project also includes complete development of the 2.3 acre site, spacious classrooms, administrative space, a full commercial kitchen, outdoor learning centers, playgrounds and hardscape improvements. Grace Place for Children and Families is a faith-based non-profit neighborhood center. The project consists of a new, two story classroom building, built from the ground up, with a total of 6,800 sq.ft. Construction includes; concrete/masonry walls, pre-engineered wood joists, and metal roofing. Construction is nearing completion of the 22,000 sq.ft. Islandwalk Clubhouse in Sarasota, FL. The project includes a mail kiosk, maintenance building and gazebo.
_02 Healthcare Projects Hunter s Creek ER DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group successfully completed the Hunter s Creek Freestanding Emergency Department. The facility is located in Orlando, FL, and includes 10 exam rooms, 1 trauma room, and a CT and radiology suite.
Health City Cayman Islands The $40 million dollar, 140-bed tertiary care hospital in Grand Cayman held its opening ceremony on February 27th, 2014. Located on the east end of the island, the Grand Cayman hospital is a center-of-excellence in cardiac surgery, cardiology and orthopedics. Consisting of semi and private patient rooms, ICU suite, which includes an MRI, gamma camera, nuclear med, CT room, dental area, full kitchen, dining area, and all required support space. The goal is to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare for patients in the Caribbean region and Americas. Lee Memorial Health System Surfside Clinic _02 This 28,000 sq.ft., two-story, design-build project will consists of a CT, Cath Lab and Radiology space along with outpatient services. Construction commenced in December and will be completed July 31, 2015. NCH Free Standing Emergency Department Projected to start construction in February of 2015, Naples Community Hospital is developing a 2 story, 41,000 sq.ft. free standing emergency department and medical office facility. The project sits on a 3.35 acre greenfield site, and includes a full service, 12,000 sq.ft. emergency department designed and constructed according to LEAN principles, a radiology department including CT scan, Flouro, X-ray and MRI, a behavioral health risk patient intake, and treatment rooms. NCH North Campus ED Expansion The Naples Community Hospital North Campus Emergency Department expansion and renovation will be complete December, 2015. The project consists of a 10,000 sq.ft. building addition and 30,000 sq.ft. renovation of existing emergency department space.
_02 Landmark Long Term Acute Care Hospital Completed this year, the Landmark LTAC is a 3 story, 47,000 sq.ft. freestanding hospital. Construction was completed in 9 months.
Webster Rehabilitation Hospital Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital Pre-construction is underway for the Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital in New Orleans, LA. The project is a 3 story, 65,000 sq.ft. rehab hospital, consisting of 16 beds for traumatic brain injuries and 44 acute rehabilitation beds with support space, full kitchen, large therapy gym, and outdoor courtyard. The project has an 11 month timespan. Sarasota Memorial Hospital The Webster Cobalt Rehabilitation Hospital is a 55,000 sq.ft, two story building located south of Houston, in Webster, TX. The hospital will treat patients with severe brain injuries serving people from south Texas and across the country. The project will be built within a 10-month period and is scheduled for completion in early 2015. Wellington Lab Renovation consisted of approximately 4,500 sq.ft. renovation and expansion of an existing blood lab. The project took about 6 months to construct and was completed in 3 phases. The existing lab remained operational during the entire duration of the project. Wellington Lab is located in West Palm Beach, FL. UHS Wellington Regional Medical Center DeAngelis Diamond Healthcare Group has completed multiple renovations and additions for Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Currently the projects include the Cape Surgical Office Renovation, the Oncology Outpatient renovation, and relocation of the corporate office and Board Conference Room. HCA University Drive Free Standing Emergency Department Construction has begun on the HCA University Drive Free Standing Emergency Department. The 13,000 sq.ft. facility will take 7 months to complete and is located in Davie, FL. _02 Acadia San Juan Capestrano Hospital Construction is complete for the 11,000 sq.ft., 24 bed addition, and renovation at the Acadia San Juan Capestrano Hospital, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The project was completed in a 6 month timespan. Construction on the 2 story, 40 bed addition is now underway and will be completed in July.
NCH Interventional Radiology Project included 1,800 sq.ft. interventional radiology addition. Installation of Bi-plane imaging equipment - the most advanced interventional medical imaging technology in the world. NCH NICU Renovation & Expansion Windmoor Healthcare This project consisted of a renovation and expansion of the existing 9 bed NICU to turn it into an 18 bed NICU. A two story addition to the existing OB building was built to accommodate new NICU support spaces and passageways. Approximately 3,500 sq.ft. of interior renovation was completed in 3 phases to create new level 2 nursery. The last phase of the project will include renovation and expansion of the physicians on call sleep rooms. DeAngelis Diamond completed 2 projects with Windmoor Healthcare this year, the Unit 34 (pictured) project consisted of a 24 bed renovation to the behavioral health care unit. The project was a LEAN construction project and totalled 5700 sq.ft. Windmoor Healthcare ECT expansion project consisted of an expansion of 12 new procedure beds to the existing ECT unit, totalling 1800 sq.ft. _02 NCH MRI The 18,000 sq.ft. area was redesigned into an MRI suite. It includes two bay patient holding areas, and a private ADA restroom. It has an open concept waiting area with detailed wood paneling concepts and a cafe bar. Sandy Pines Behavioral Health Center Sandy Pines is a children s behavioral health facility located in Tequesta, FL. The project included a 40,000 sq.ft. addition to an existing facility. Two buildings were added to the facility, a patient /sleep wing and an educational wing. The entire project was built using LEAN principles and practices.
