TYPICAL ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION COSTS Typical costs for various size organisations are shown below. Firm quotations are normally provided following receipt of a completed Request for Quotation form. Mandatory Document IAF:MD5 is used to calculate audit days and the number of days spent on the audits is the key factor towards calculating the costs of certification. STAGE ONE AUDIT FEE A can vary from 150.00 up to 600.00. The price range takes account of the need for a Audit to be completed on site, and also the complexity of the intended scope of certification. For small companies in an office environment the audit may be completed at WCS Head Office, but for larger companies with processes such as design, manufacture, installation, test etc. the audit will always be completed on site. Stage 1, Stage 2, and audit fees ISO 9001 1 5 150-450 550-650 550-600 6 10 150-450 600-750 600-750 11 15 450 750-950 600-750 16 25 450 950-1250 650-800 26 45 450 1100-1450 850-1000 46 65 450-550 1450-1800 1000-1250 66-85 450-550 1800-2500 1250-1400 550-650 General Notes: VAT MUST BE ADDED TO ALL THE ABOVE FEES which were reviewed in Nov 2012. All fees are payable in advance of the activity to which they refer. For example, the annual audit fees are normally payable 11 months and 23 months after the initial Stage 2 audit was completed. The above fees apply to an application made for one site. Where activities included in the scope of registration are undertaken at more than one site, additional assessment time may be required, therefore additional cost may be added to the quotation. WCS may also require payment of reasonable travel costs and accommodation should the location or complexity/scale of operations require it. However, the fees will always be agreed with the client at the Quote/Application stage following the client completing/returning a Request for Quote form. Clients may request a pre-audit prior to an assessment. This is usually of 1 day duration and a minimum charge of 500 will apply.
