General Information Camstar Education Services offer quality coursework to support customer needs on all capabilities of the products within the Camstar Enterprise Platform. Instructor led training and interactive course labs provide the knowledge and skills needed by customers to implement solutions to business needs using Camstar s. Camstar education is developed for core members of the implementation team, including: modelers, designers, developers, and managers. Courses provide focused, hands-on training and are presented as: Classroom Presentation and Demonstration Instructor Lectures / Discussion Interactive Labs Case Studies The Exploring level courses are intended for all members of a customer project team; and teach the basics of the out of the box functionality of the s. Other courses within the curriculum(s) teach specific skills or are related to product supporting technology that will allow you to more deeply understand and use the Power of Camstar to configure a solution to meet your specific business requirements. Training Plans are tailored to customer needs as part of the implementation project. All classes are taught by certified instructors. Camstar recommends three training tracks for a typical project team s resources: Orientation Training Track This track is recommended for the entire customer project team. The focus of the Orientation Training is: To familiarize attendees with Camstar terminology. To teach attendees navigation skills within the applications. To familiarize attendees with the configurable objects used to define a factory model and execute transactions on it. This includes a heavy emphasis on Object relationships (how the objects fit together as building blocks to construct a model to meet functional requirements on the shopfloor). The Orientation Training includes the Exploring Camstar Manufacturing and the appropriate training units from the Exploring Camstar Features Modules. Also included is the Camstar Implementation Methodology course. This course provides instruction on the methodology Camstar uses to support customer project engagements. This track is executed early in the project (often pre-kickoff). Copyright 2013 Camstar Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 1 2013 Camstar release 5 Course Catalog V2.4.docx

System Developer /Maintainer Training Track This track teaches specific skills needed by staff involved in technical areas of the project, i.e. Interface and Report developers. The System Developer/Maintainer Training includes the Object Design and Portal Studio User and Developer courses. This track builds on the Orientation Track, which should have been completed previously. This track may be delayed until well into the project depending upon the roles customer personnel will assume during the initial implementation. System Administrator Training Track This track is recommended for IT Administrative staff. The System Administrator Training includes the Camstar Enterprise Platform Administration class. This class is typically taught by a Camstar IT professional at your facility during installation and configuration of Camstar on your production servers. This track is typically executed in conjunction with hardware availability and environment setup. We also offer the Camstar Installation and Configuration course. This course may be needed if your organization plans to stand up a training or testing sandbox environment. This course is required if you plan to host Camstar classes at your facility. Open Enrollment Scheduled classes are taught at the Camstar Education Center in Charlotte, North Carolina and Penang, Malaysia. The schedule is posted on the Camstar Website Education pages. Classes can also be taught onsite at customer or partner locations. Copyright 2013 Camstar Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved. Page 2
