R A D I AT I O N T H E R A P Y T E C H N O LO GY A S S O C I AT E O F A P P L I E D S C I E N C E D E G R E E ( A A S ) 8 2 C r e d i t s The Radiation Therapy Associate of Applied Science degree program prepares graduates to work with the radiation oncologist in delivering daily doses of ionizing radiation for cancer treatment. Graduates are eligible to sit for the National exam for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification in Radiation Therapy. A limited entry program; students must attend a health programs orientation and meet with the health programs advisor for additional counseling. STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES Graduates of this program will have the opportunity to: ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE Demonstrate the ability to pass the ARRT national accreditation examination. Demonstrate basic knowledge of what cancer is and how cancer is treated.
