Iccrea Banking Group A value composition.

A value composition Iccrea Banking Group is made up of Companies that provide exclusive products and services to 400 BCC- CR (Banche di Credito Cooperativo e Casse Rurali Cooperative Credit Banks Rural Savings Banks) in Italy. Iccrea Group companies provide advanced financial instruments, asset management and pension products, credit solutions for small and medium size enterprises and extraordinary financing. Iccrea Holding, whose capital is held by BCC-CR, controls Iccrea Banking Group companies.

Servicing BCC-CR Due to this strong tie, all Group Companies activities are aimed at acknowledging, in every business strategy, features that mark credit cooperation expressed in BCC-CR bonds to the territory and people who live and work in it. The mission of Iccrea Group companies is to support BCC-CRs by enhancing their position on the local market, increasing their efficiency and competitiveness, and maximizing the value they add in promoting local economic development.

Cooperative Credit Banks in Italy In Italy, Cooperative Credit came into being at the end of the 19th century, with the creation of the first system of Rural and Artisan Banks (Casse Rurali ed Artigiane), to help its members free themselves from the bonds of poverty and the scourge of usury. Casse Rurali ed Artigiane were created among rural communities to grant more favorable loans, focusing on people and relying on their members self-financing capability. Since then, each Banca di Credito Cooperativo and Cassa Rurale has kept strong and deep ties with their territory, interweaving their history to that of the local community. Credito Cooperativo in numbers: more than 400 Banche di Credito Cooperativo and Casse Rurale more than 4,0000 branches one million members 31,000 co-workers more than 5 million customers

Cooperative Credit in the world Cooperative organizations operating worldwide are more than 300 thousand with 170 million members. In Europe, there are more than 4,500 cooperative credit banks, about 60,000 branches and 60 million members. In some EU countries cooperative credit has reached a strong position in national markets. In France, for example, Cooperative groups such as Crédit Agricole and Crédit Mutuel account for almost one third of market deposits and jobs. The same results are registered in Finland with Ponjola Group, that plays a leading role in the Scandinavian economic market. Likewise, the Austrian RZB (Raiffeksen Zentrallbank Osterreich) has created a network of branches in the countries of Central- Eastern Europe. Also in the Netherlands, with Rabobank and in Germany, with DZ Bank and WGZ Bank members of the BVR system (Bundesverband der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeinsenbanken), credit cooperation plays an important role in the entire country and territory where they operate recording constant positive growth. The most important European cooperative credit banking groups are represented by two associations located in Brussels, the European Association of Credit Banks (EACB), which represents and safeguards the entire category in front of the European Institutions, and Unico Banking Group, that promotes multilateral and bilateral cooperation among associated banks, to make banking services more efficient worldwide.

Credito Cooperativo In order to retain the advantages linked to their small size, widespread action and roots in the territory, Italian Cooperative Credit Banks (Credito Cooperativo) are structured in a national system focused on two main segments: association and entrepreneurship. The association segment is divided into three areas: local, regional and national. BCC-CR, after their creation, are members of local federations (that represent one or more regions, and whose overall number is 15) that are associated to Federcasse, the national federation that promotes, coordinates and provides technical and auditing assistance to the entire Credito Cooperativo System. The entrepreneurial segment is made up of Iccrea Banking Group, represented by Iccrea Holding, and Subsidiary Companies, that exclusively provide products and services to BCC-CR (Banche Credito e Casse Rurali- Cooperative Credit Banks and Rural Banks). In its broad International Co-operative Lending framework, BCC-CR participates in the UNICO banking Group (through Iccrea Holding) and to the Association of European Co-operative Banks (with Federcasse). Credito Cooperativo, furthermore, participates in the Raiffeisen International Union, a body aimed at spreading cooperative lending in southern countries worldwide, following the lessons of Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen, the founder of cooperative lending.

Iccrea Banking Group The current set up of Iccrea Banking Group dates back to 1995, with the creation of Iccrea Holding, the Parent Company holding the majority equities in the companies that joined Iccrea in subsequent years.

Iccrea Banca, Iccrea BancaImpresa (at that time known as Banca Agrileasing) and Aureo Gestioni, already operating in the Credito Cooperativo System, have been the first 3 companies to enter Iccrea Holding with their capital. In the following years, in order to create an integrated supply system for Credito Cooperativo Banks capable of meeting their customer needs, other divisions such as insurance and extraordinary finance were established. Apart from Companies dedicated to specific business segments, Iccrea Banking Group supports the market through commercial alliances with important partners. A clear example is the creation of the Crediper and Credipercasa brands in consumer credit and house mortgages market.

Offer of Gruppo bancario Iccrea Iccrea Banking Group offer proposition is organized into three business areas, representing the Subsidiary Companies market and partnerships with leading market Companies. Iccrea Holding The creation, in 1995, of Iccrea Holding led to the establishment of Iccrea Banking Group aimed at supporting and spurring Italian Banche di Credito Cooperativo e Casse Rurali to develop, in a sustainable and responsible way, their market shares and competitiveness. A quantum leap.

Iccrea Holding monitors, guides and coordinates Iccrea Banking Group Companies to achieve tailored quality products and services, defining business strategies, planning and result monitoring. Iccrea Holding shareholders include Credito Cooperativo and Casse Rurali (BCC-CR), the Italian Federation of BCC-CR (Federcasse), local Federations and other territorial bodies. As Parent Company, Iccrea Holding coordinates Iccrea Banking Group Companies providing an integrated supply system aimed at increasing each Bank s (institutional segment) effectiveness and provide, exclusively for its Credito Cooperativo clientele a range of products and services for small and medium size enterprises (corporate segment) and household saving and insurance (retail segment).
