3. SeeTec Cayuga S50 X SeeTec Cayuga S50 X is the perfect entry to the world of professional video management for projects covering one single site. It contains all the essential features you need for small and medium installations such as live and archive view, alarm handling and the support of up to 50 camera channels. In addition, Web and Mobile client are supported as well as maps and server based motion detection. SeeTec Cayuga S50 X also provides an integration of several intrusion detection systems. 5. SeeTec Cayuga Infinity and Infinity X With no limitations regarding the number of camera channels, SeeTec Cayuga Infinity is the optimum solution for large projects. It supports any number of recording servers and is therefore perfectly suitable for multi-site installations. To manage those installations properly, hierarchical administration levels can be set. As another important feature for multi-site installations, SeeTec Cayuga Infinity supports failover solutions: While redundant system management servers can be set up in any SeeTec Cayuga Infinity system, Infinity X also allows the use of redundant recording servers. In combination with SeeTec Cayuga Infinity the complete range of analytics modules (SeeTec Analytics Basic, Premium and Enterprise) can be used as well as LPR and Counting. 6. SeeTec Business Video Intelligence (BVI) SeeTec BVI combines video data with business processes, creating added value for your video system. If you want to connect to a central application such as ERP or warehouse management, the SeeTec BVI Server Module is the core of the SeeTec BVI solution, providing a powerful database. It combines and stores event data from the SeeTec Cayuga VMS and from additional sources, which can be integrated via SeeTec BVI Interfaces. These interfaces follow a driver-based approach, which makes it possible to easily add new models or types of devices. For the individual integration of new drivers SeeTec BVI Project Engineering is required in order to estimate the necessary development efforts. 9. SeeTec Cayuga Services & Software Trainings Remote support tickets are available for several periods of time and may be used e.g. for installation support. 10. SeeTec Software Update & Maintenance The Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) makes sure that the SeeTec software is up to date at any time. Please take a closer look at the details, which can be found in the Terminology appendix. The annual service costs shall always be calculated on the basis of the total of the list prices for the SeeTec software modules used. The contract shall be renewed automatically each year, unless either party notifies the other in writing of its intention not to renew at least 90 days prior to the renewal date. The service contract fee is 17 % per year for a one-year subscription or 12 % per year for a three-years subscription (prepayment) if the SMA is purchased at the same time as the software package. For ex post SMA orders and standalone updates, 20 % of the total of the list prices for the SeeTec software modules used will be added for each year passed. 12. Terminology 12.1 SeeTec Multi Streaming Support Multi streaming is applied when one camera delivers several or different video streams/codecs to the SeeTec Server and SeeTec Client. Example: Recording in MJPEG and for visualization in H 264. 12.2 SeeTec Web Client A simple SeeTec client for live and archive view and alarm handling without any prior software installation. Only Java 6 or better is required. The Web Client works in Windows and selected Linux or Mac OS X environments. 12.3 SeeTec Mobile Client The SeeTec Mobile Client is currently available for ios and Android devices and grants access to live view and alarm recordings. 12.4 SeeTec Anywhere The Anywhere option makes it possible to start a SeeTec client from a network share without any prior installation, without administrative rights and without leaving any trace on the host system. SeeTec Anywhere licenses work in concurrent mode and are available for any SeeTec Cayuga product. SeeTec Anywhere also includes the SeeTec Viewer Anywhere for viewing recorded image data without the need to install software before. 12.5 SeeTec Multi Installation Login The SeeTec Multi Installation Login can be used to connect to several SeeTec installations simultaneously with one single SeeTec client. 12.6 SeeTec Display Agent The SeeTec Display Agent feature can be used to visualize SeeTec on large screen displays and monitor walls. A regular SeeTec Client can be used in Dispatcher Mode to manage one or several large screen displays, which have to be attached to a standard PC running the SeeTec Display Agent. 12.7 SeeTec Multimedia Application Channel The Multimedia Application Channel allows you to interact with the SeeTec Server via the SeeTec Gateway Service (SGS). Via this gateway, you will receive the requested multimedia stream for a third party application. The SGS is a predefined SOAP based interface. It provides only the methods and returns the information and data you request. Decoding the video stream or displaying the images resp. information must be done by the third party system. You can use it with the programming language of your choice as long as the language can send and receive SOAP commands. - 11 -
12.8 SeeTec SDK The SeeTec SDK Package allows the integration of the SeeTec software into user interfaces of third party applications. 12.9 SeeTec LPR Module (License Plate Recognition) By using the SeeTec LPR Module you can enhance your SeeTec video management solution by a powerful, fully integrated software solution for the automatic recognition of number plates. The SeeTec LPR Module can handle and distinguish plates from many different countries - including also number plates containing cyrillic or arabic characters. Basically, you can use the SeeTec LPR Module with any IP camera integrated in SeeTec - making it really easy to use. To get perfect results, special analogue shutter cameras are supported via video encoders. With the LPR Module running on one server, you can control up to four lanes depending on speed, traffic volume and trigger type. A range of management features such as organizing number plates in lists or an electronic ticket handling system make the solution round. 12.10 SeeTec Analytics (Video Content Analysis) With the SeeTec Analytics series, SeeTec provides three professional server based VCA modules. The solutions are based on powerful detection algorithms by the market leader ObjectVideo, being completely integrated into the SeeTec user interface. Thus they can be easily configured directly in SeeTec Cayuga. Because of their modular architecture, the products are perfectly suited to extend an existing SeeTec system without reinstallation. For every project containing SeeTec Analytics, initial planning by SeeTec Sales Experts is required. 12.11 SeeTec Counting SeeTec Counting can be used to count persons or objects within the camera view. Rules can be applied based on tripwires or on areas of interest. The SeeTec Counting Suite is licensed on a channel basis. For every project containing the SeeTec Counting Suite, initial planning by SeeTec Sales Experts is required. 12.12 SeeTec Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) The Software Maintenance Agreement is part of the software and authorizes a free update to the latest version during runtime. The validity of the SMA is automatically extended by one additional period unless it is cancelled. Customers can buy the SMA together with the software, which enables them to update to the latest software right from the start. They can also buy the SMA after purchasing the software. Please note that the number of channels that can be used with SeeTec Motion Scrambling is limited by the performance of the client PC. The use of Motion Scrambling on cameras with HD resolution or better will result in a very high CPU load. - 13 -
12.14 Server-based Motion Detection The server-based motion detection can be used to detect motion within the camera view, even if the camera does not support motion detection on the edge. It can for instance trigger alarms and start an alarm recording. As trigger areas, either the entire camera view or particular areas within the view can be used. 12.15 Sequential Alarm Window With the feature Sequential Alarm Window, an additional display window is available, in which all camera images belonging to the received alarms are displayed automatically. The security personnel of big systems with many alarms thus get an even faster overview over the events, and are able to decide in a matter of seconds which alarm should be prioritized. The visualization may be adjusted individually regarding column and line number. - 14 -
