Rapidquote Online Quote System User Manual Once your broker has signed up to the Rapidquote Online system, our main broker contact will supply us with a list of users, these users will automatically be sent a username and password. The email will come from DO NOT REPLY and will be titled NEW CHARTIS EXTRANET ACCOUNT The website address is http://www.chartisinsurance.com/uk/extra/ Index 1. Signing on 2. Find a client 3. 2. You will be taken to the Find a Client screen. If you are a new user or your client doesn t exist on the system you will need to Add a Client (See 3. below) To find a client begin to type in the client name. The system will automatically recognise the client. Click on the client name to go to the client summary (See 4. below) or get a quote for this client(see 5 below 3. To Add a Client click on the Add a client tab and enter the required details and click next. This will take you to Get a Quote (See 5. below)

4. The Client Summary Page is for new quotes, reviewing existing quotes, MTA s, editing client details and reviewing live policies. 5. To begin your quote click Get a Rapidquote Quote From here you can also return to the client Summary page

6. Enter the period of cover required and click next - please check that both the Inception date and expiry date are correct. The system doesn t automatically calculate the expiry date so both need to be entered manually. 7. If client has existing insurance with another provider please enter the Expiring Insurer.

To continue you must read and agree to the Material Facts Statement then click next. Complete the Client name and Business Description please ensure that spelling is correct as this is how it will appear in all documentation. Any field with a * is a mandatory field. Primary Trade Select the trade from the drop down list Is the client a sole trader we are unable to provide any cover for individuals or sole traders. If you answer yes you will be unable to obtain a quotation. Postcode Ensure the Client postcode is correct Use the look up address button to select the address. Then click next

11. To Bind click Accept this will debit the premium automatically to your broker account with us. 12. Once you have bound your case you will have final details of the Premium and Policy Docs. This information can be sent to you by clicking E-mail me this Policy. The policy wording and policy summary documents are stored in the policy wording link along with other documents you may find useful. You can now quote for another client, return to the client summary page or log off.

13. Click on policy wording to access the full policy wording and policy summary documents. 14. Enter the Policy Inception Date of your policy and click search.
